Professional tools.
These are great for small wires in tight spaces. Klein tools. Professional tools. Not much else to say!

Another great Klein tool
Very durable, and simple tool. Great value for your dollar as well. It feels good in your hand, and has a good weight. Can't go wrong with this one.

Amazing, precise, quality!
Amazing, precise, quality. I was surprised at the quality and precision for the money. I had some 30ga wire to cut and strip and it did it effortlessly with no cut strands, clean cut insulation, and perfect cuts to the wire. These cutters are extremely well-made and would recommend them to anyone.

Very Good, but Quality Has Declined.
Like most people here, I like to purchase tools made in the U.S.A. I've also had very good luck with German-made tools like Knipex, Wera, etc., and Hakko-branded CHP made in Italy for electrical work. While I LOVE that Klein is still made in the U.S., the durability isn't what it used to be... which I suppose I understand if they want to keep it at this price point. This newer model I used for a maybe 10 minutes a week and it lasted about ~4 years to the point where it doesn't work at all. The older model is over 20 years old I believe and it still cuts fairly well. Not as well as a fresh new sharp one but it's still serviceable. I had some of the uncurved Hakko strippers and those went even faster, maybe 2-3 years of light but regular use. I'd say for the price the ergonomics, fit, and finish are excellent. Personally I'd spend $50-60 on something that I wouldn't have to toss every 4 years though. Unfortunately Knipex doesn't make traditional wire strippers than handle above 20 gauge, so while not as attractive or ergonomic, the Hakko CHP CSP-30-1 seems to hold a sharper edge better than this new model. It gets the same amount of use and it's still in really excellent shape after 3+ years use. I will say that I prefer the hand-feel of the Klein for stripping a jacket. TL;DR: This is still a solid, ergonomic wire stripper that's made in the U.S.A., just not as durable as it used to be, and the Hakko CHP made in Italy will last longer despite being less ergonomic.

Works perfectly on those small wires
Finally, a stripper for small wires that makes perfect, clean, complete strips. Others either do not cut completely through the insulation or else they make irregular cuts that damage one or more of the wire strands. This one works very well on those hard-to-strip small wires.

Excellent wire stripper for small gauge wire
These are excellent for stripping small gauge wire. I had 24, 28, and 30ga and these stripped them first try very cleanly! Very happy with these.

Best Wire Stripper
After buying a few non branded wire stripper and regretting it after all of them rusted and became dull. This stripper is robust and strips insulation like a hot knife through butter..

You get what you pay for
Very good quality, nice in the hands and much easier to use than my other cheap little pair.

Does the job nicely
Should have bought a decent wire stripper years ago. Only need it occasionally, but having the right tool for the job is so much better than trying to strip wires with nail scissors...
