I’ve been using Lamy Black T10 Ink Cartridges for a while now, and they are absolutely fantastic! The ink is a rich, deep black, making my writing look sharp and professional on any paper. It flows smoothly without skips or blotches and is easy to replace on the Lamy Safari. It does dry fairly quickly but you should wait ~20 seconds to prevent smudging. Plus, they last quite a long time, so I don’t have to worry about replacing them too often. If you own a Lamy fountain pen, these cartridges are definitely worth it and at a really fair price. I love these pens. I carry one with me all the time in my front pants pocket. They have never leaked and give a perfect first line every time. I write pages of material every day at work and these pens take a beating. I have two spares and they haven't been opened. I used this pen before for four years and lost it. The best features for me is that I can use light pressure or heavy pressure and the ink comes out perfectly. I have no need for another hobby by taking up the fine art and customizations of pens. That's what I know today. Price point and quality make these pens seem like a gift. After years of using one pen as an intern and in private practice they have simplifyed my life. These pens are Every Day Carry like some do with a wrist watch or pocket knife.

Great ink, great cartridge. After getting fed up with getting ink all over myself (my hands, my desk, anything remotely near me) I decided to pick up the cartridges. Completely solved the problem of my ineptitude! The cartridges last a decent amount of time. They are slightly expensive, but I think worth the convenience. The ink quality is great, and the cartridges mount very easily. I'm new to using fountain pens (the Lamy Safari being my first) and I had absolutely no issues popping this right in for use. I will note that if you use your fountain pen quite frequently, or want to change colors, you may want to switch to bottled ink so you'll always have a decent supply (and a lower price point!) I use mine for only certain occasions, so these are perfect for infrequent use.

Quick and affordable.

I am not a big fan of Lamy ink due to personal preferences but it performs well, nothing to write home about but still really solid everyday use ink. One problem, however, is that I left it on my Lamy Safari and stopped using that pen and within a month the ink seemed to had dried so bad it damaged the pen (it doesn't write anymore) while my pilot that has been using Waterman and my Parker with Quink continued writing perfectly after over a month. I will personally buy a converter for my next Lamy and whenever I get my lazy ass to fix this one and use my bottle ink. However, if you travel a lot or carry your Lamy everywhere and there is a chance you might run out of ink in the way I guess this cartridges could work but besides that I don't really see the need of getting this over a converter, you get to save money too.

I have a simple but excellent Lamy Safari pen which has become my go to writing instrument. The ink lasts a respectable amount of time, but when looking for replacement cartridges it seemed like a no brainer to use ones made by the same company. I'm obviously not an authority on ink, but the ink seems to flow easily but dry quickly on various papers with minimal bleed or smear. At $1.25 per cartridge, they're not cheap, considering Bic Clic ballpoint pens are $3.99 per dozen here on Amazon. But if you prefer using a fountain pen, as I do, especially your Lamy Safari, then you can buy these with confidence. One note, a reviewer gave these cartridges a lower rating stating they are difficult to load the cartridge securely. The best advise is not to fight it but let the pen do the work. Mount the cartridge and then as you screw the body back together the cartridge will be forced on tight and secure.

I got these because they have a higher ink capacity than the smaller size. I’ve been using them for years and have never had any leak issues. The price is right for that quick and convenient swap out.
