Plant based, NOT shell based!
I have purchased this multiple times. As I require a calcium supplement, a plant based, rather than shell based, is best for absorption by the body. Good product.

Great supplement!
Seems to be working for me. My bone density has increased with this and the bone med. However, the bone med alone could be the cause of my density significantly going up. These are easy to swallow and I take one morning and another at night.

Equal quality for better pricing
This red algae calcium supplement has similar elements as much pricier supplements. Cannot judge the effectiveness of the item as it isn’t meant to make bone changes in a week. The one downside, and the reason for 4 stars, is that the oblong tablets aren’t encapsulated to swallow easier.

Check your Blood Pressure
I liked how these pills had additional vitamins and minerals in these and were manufactured according to good manufacturing practices. I ended up returning these calcium pills, because they raised my blood pressure by 40 points. There must be salt from the algae in these, so if you are prone to high blood pressure, monitor your blood pressure to make sure you don't have that problem.

Compré el calcio de alga roja ( de plantas ) , ya q el calcio q recetan en España es de roca , y produce muchas molestias estomacales además de a mi , estreñimiento severo . Gracias a este producto ( ya q en locales de Espana no venden calcio de alga roja ) he podido añadir el calcio a mis suplementos , y puedo asegurar q no provoca este efecto. Además añade otros minerales buenos para los huesos . Por Dios , no lo quitéis de Amazon , a ver si en Espana se pueda vender y dar a conocer el calcio de alga roja .
