is this whole bean or ground

You can get in either whole bean or ground.

Why does this Dark Roast say "decaffeinated" in the product information?

It has been some time since I ordered Hills Bros. dark roast, however I do not remember any wording saying it was decaffeinated. I never buy decaf. I moved on to my old standby's but you might like HB dark roast. It is always just a matter of taste.

No but you can probably get it in decaf if you so desire.
