Forget Swiss-Miss, Ovaltine, or other lesser chocolate mixes that may satiate the young and underdeveloped pallet, this powder is for grown-ups who know what they want. What really separates this hot chocolate from the rest? Besides name brand recognition, the number one reason that makes this powder a little different is that they have thought to include real milk derivatives, meaning that even if you absentmindedly use water to make your hot cocoa, the milky ingredients will mask your sin against chocolate, and the end result will still taste milk based. Just do yourself a favor, and use at least whole milk, or some sort of luxurious lactose based liquid. Or soy if you're of that particular persuasion. Each satchel packs 170 calories, so this isn't the place to be cutting back. This is to be enjoyed, so go nuts, Half & Half works great. Light cream works just as well. It is the best store-bought hot chocolate ever! Very chocolatey and smooth. No funny after taste or smell! I love it!

Premium. Craving satisfied. Hot milk and boil it in the microwave with the cocoa mix. It turned out thick, creamy not overly sweet and it does not taste fake sweetener. It taste perfect! 10/10

Ghirardelli Premium Hot Cocoa has upped my hot chocolate game according to my family . And I agree ! Use one packet of this powdered gold with whatever warm milk you're into and buckle up. This smells like heaven and tastes like sugared sin. Mmmm sweet velvety goodness. It is a must have in my hot beverage station. The box size is perfect it doesn't take up too much space along side my coffee and teas. Definitely sturdy enough that it has never arrived with any spillage. If you're watching your carbs this may not be an option for you because it does contain over 25g of sugar. But I assume you must indulge from time to time because here you are reading my review under hot cocoa... so go for it .. treat yourself to a premium hot cocoa it's definitely worth the buy and in turn you will become the hot cocoa master to those you love.

I had my first packet yesterday. I mixed it with a black cup of coffee. I put little dehydrated marshmallows on top. The result - the best (home brewed) café mocha EVER! I'm definitely serving this to guests during the holidays

Très bon chocolat chaud, j'achetais le Godiva qui était excellent, il est discontinué, j'en ai cherché d'autres marques et finalement celui qui s'y approche le plus est celui-ci .

Very creamey hot chocolate mix, easy to mix, we usually mix half and half water and milk, a satisfying treat on a chilly day!

I loved the flavour of this hot chocolate. So good with whipped cream on top. I'd buy this again definately.
