I purchased this to train the pups to stay in the yard as I walk with them and/or to retrieve. I quickly trained my pups' obedience and shortened the learning curve on a few tricks.

Totally worth every penny! very easy to connect to the add a collar option. I now have 2 collars on 1 remote. Very easy to control durable with multiple shock settings.

My wife and I are involved in dog rescue in the Myrtle Beach, SC area. We also have 3 large breed dogs of our own. I purchased 3 Sportdog ecollars of of Amazon for large dogs and a remote to replace worn out Petsafe Big Dog collars and 2 remotes. I now own 8 non functioning PetSafe Big Dog collars with two remotes and 3 Sportdog ecollars with one remote. After purchasing the Sport dog brand I discovered Petsafe collars are now part of the Sportdog brand. I am not sure what to expect since I replaced so many Petsafe BigDog collars that stopped working after several months. I tried contacting Petsafe and received no response. I believe that was poor customer service since I invested a large sum of money in their products. It appears the Sportdog brand batteries can be replaced after they wear down. I also like that I only need one remote for 3 dogs. I am hoping this brand will meet my needs for many years. If not I will update my review with my experience.

Well hopefully I can edit this review if the product actually works..however..much like another review had mentioned the remote for this collar was missing. I had gotten it extremely quickly, next day..and was so excited to have it and try it out over the weekend. Unfortunately the package came without a remote, which is incredibly disheartening considering the cost of the product. Therefore, I can't recommend this product because for the price it should come with EVERYTHING needed to USE the product. Edit: IT DOES NOT COME WITH A REMOTE! The listing is extremely misleading. This is to ADD to your existing remote. Do NOT purchase this thinking it comes with one.
