If only it was a little larger
It is smaller than the pictures, and it holds max 3 ounces. I would have preferred one that holds 4 or 5 ounces, and one that had a larger opening; hence 4 stars. Measurements: It is 2 1/4 inches (6 cm) tall. The opening at the top of the shot glass (all of these are inside measurements) is 2" in diameter (5 cm), and is 2 5/8 inches (66 mm) across the spouts. I've used a ruler for all of these measurements. The glass is thick, about 3/16" or about 4mm thick. This is good. In use, for my device -- the Breville Barrista Express -- it is almost the right size, but it fills to the top when I produce a 2 ounce shot because of the foam. I have to watch it closely so that the coffee won't miss the shot glass. Thus I would have preferred if it was maybe 1/2" or 15mm wider and held 3 or 4 ounces. Oh well. I might find something to raise it closer to the bottom of the portafilter so it'll have a better chance to catch all the coffee that's espressed. I hope the measurements are helpful -- I know I would have wanted this information before I made the purchase. (Update January 2016. I originally graded this a 4 star instead of a 5-star because the listing lacked the dimensions that I've added above. However I use the one I purchased daily to lift another cup closer to the portafilter as it works quite well as a support. I've also used it to measure small liquid amounts. So I'm changing this to a 5-star review based on my two-year's experience with it.)

Nice for your espresso machine.
I use this shot glass just about every day for my Vetrano 2b espresso machine. I highly recommend it if you are using shot glasses to measure the volume of espresso. It's much easier than using two separate 1 oz shot glasses. I have tried to not use a measuring cup in the past, and I have found with my non-volumetric espresso machine that this is a bad idea. The glass is just wide enough to catch both streams of espresso in this one cup. If your espresso is pulling too fast (like 10 second shots), then the streams will extend too far out and will spill. As you can see by the pictures, a proper pulled shot that takes about 30 seconds will fit nicely. I do find that I sometimes spill a little in the beginning since it's hard to align exactly before the espresso is pulling. The picture makes it look easy because the camera is only a few inches away. The small handle is nice so that you can position the cup without scorching your hand. Also if you leave the espresso shot in there for a few min, the glass will be too hot to hold, but the handle will remain cool. If you try to pour hot water, it will spill outside since the streams will be wider. You can still pour water in there by just holding the cup up and directly contacting the spouts. I do this to warm the glass. You can also warm the glass by using the water from the steam spout, but I don't usually need to do this. I read that someone had trouble with the glass cracking with hot water. That must have been a manufacturer defect or damage during delivery. I have used this cup more than 600 times (twice a day for a year) and it has not broken. This includes occasional hot steam water, espresso, and usual cleaning. I usually try to clean it with hot water to avoid extreme thermal stress, but I have cleaned the hot glass with cold water and it has not cracked yet.

OMGOSH.. I'm so in love with this little measuring cup
I didn't think I would like this measuring cup as much as I do. I purchased it for use with my espresso machines - specifically for pulling shots which then have to be poured carefully into milk, etc. The cup is a very nice size (smaller than I expected, which is good actually). It's about the size of a traditional ceramic espresso cup (think Peet's coffee). It's a touch larger and can easily hold two shots. I like that it has marks on the size and have actually started using it to calibrate the shot volume on some of my machines. It's not very good to drink directly out of (due to the pour spout), but it's great when it comes to pouring shots or any small volume of liquid, etc. I wish it didn't cost $13 via Amazon Prime, but what the heck; you only live once :) It works great and is a well made, classy little addition to the coffee cups, etc.

Great product, but overpriced
Especially now ($15 is like double the normal price, see wholelattelove for example). The product is great and helps to identify the volume. The dual spouts causing it to fit well under a 58mm portafilter, and helps to prevent spillage from the spouts. Were it $8 as it's supposed to be, this would be an instant purchase.

Slightly expensive but worth it
This little espresso pitcher is perfect for making drinks in mugs that are too tall for your espresso machine. My travel mug does not fit under the machine to extract espresso straight into it. Instead, I make the espresso into this, and then easily pour it into my mug.

Great Espresso Shot Glass
UPDATE 10.21.2024: I have washed it with dish soap and cleaned it with a sponge several times through the past few years. The white marks are still there. :) I did a lot of research on espresso shot glasses. Most others similar products have low ratings because the measurement lines wear off or the glass cracks. I've been using this for about a month and I've had no issues. On another note, I love the handle! It's very useful. Also, I just rinse it after I pull the shot, so I don't know if washing it would remove the measurement lines. Anyhow, I think the quality is really good too. It's sturdy and the glass seems solid. I'm happy with it.

Great addition of my Coffee collection
Excellent pitcher, i had looked at a few options & this looked to be one of the best available. It was received well packed & straight out of the box you could tell it was good quality. Marking are clear, handle is great & two optional spouts for pouring out you coffee shots.

great glass works well for espresso
great glass works well for espresso, is not dishwasher safe, logos and measurements will ware off in dishwasher, rendering this not as useful, spouts are great for pouring and is nice to see espresso in glass as it is brewed.
