It was every time they played, yet other songs were fine. The Scosche has much better sound quality, none of the static. I can't comment yet on longevity, it seems nice enough, but now I can really enjoy my car's audio system. So far I totally recommend this one. I also like that this doesn't have the bass boost button my prior transmitter had. Setup was quick, the connection stays stable, and call quality is way better than I expected from an FM adapter. The dual USB ports are clutch — the USB‑C fast charges my phone without slowing down the audio. Only downside is the usual FM thing: you might get a little static in crowded radio areas, but it’s rare.
