It worked!
I just put the seeds into potted soil, added water and left them on the window sill. Went to check again after a few days, and, baby green onions!! Exciting!

Didn't work for me
Not a big one to give one star ratings. I don't like it. But honestly, not a single seed grew. I have a big round pot and 2/3rds of the pot got chives and the rest got the Sow Right Seeds - Heshiko Japanese Bunching Green Onion Seeds for Planting. Some of the seeds sprouted but before long they were one with the dirt. Vanished. The chives, on the other hand did GREAT. So..... I was looking forward to the Sow Right Seeds - Heshiko Japanese Bunching Green Onion Seeds for Planting. Mebbe if I had started them in pots under the grow light.... I dunno.

Bad germination rate
I tried germinating these in a damp paper towel and they sprouted teeny roots and then just died off. So I tried again with coco coir and vermiculite. I got 3 out of 15 to germinate. Feeling very sad. I also bought romaine lettuce seeds from this brand and they germinated fine.
