A TABATA is 8 Intervals of a 20 second WORK Interval and a 10 second REST Interval. A 60 second REST follows each TABATA. Energetic!
I use this to teach a small group battle rope class. My clients and I love it because it energizes us to battle hard! I bought the volume 1 first and loved it. Personally, I think volume 1 is better (they usually are), but volume 2 is pretty close behind. The BPM is around 150 for the "work" segments, the warm-up is around 140. I have another brand of Tabata CD with work segments at around 140BPM. It's OK, but I like my music fast for Tabata. The price is great at Amazon!

Love Total Body Tabata CD's
Love Total Body Tabata CD's. Very clear...the count down tells me to start working and the whistle tells me to stop. Some tabata music left me wondering if I'd missed a transition, but this one doesn't.Being...well, let's just say not in my 20's 30's or 40's...I didn't think I'd get into the music, but after a few times, it really grew on me and I find myself singing along!

Perfect!
I teach a HIIT class, and this music is perfect for it! The vocal and whistle cues are easy to hear and make it so easy to know when to work and when to rest. I like that they use well know songs and not just music. PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THESE!

I'm just in love with Tabata because we can keep working without counting or looking at the clock. Whoever came up with Tabata is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a good work , but the music is to fast for my class. I still would recommend it for Tabata instructors.
