They only like things not meant for cats, even as toys. So it is tough to buy them something they like. This cat tree is no different. Pros: - Very easy to put together - Sturdy, doesn't seem like it will tip over - One of my cats loves to lay in it (he's a hammock fan) Cons: - It is definitely a bit smaller. My smallest cat, Sticker (pictures), finds it very comfortable, but he's also somewhere between 8 and 10 lbs and loves to curl up. My other two cats are not big hammock fans. - My cats do not use it as a scratching post (yet). I am not sure if it's because they do not like the material of the posts or if it is due to the location of the tree - The top part is very small. I don't know if my cats will use it ever I bought this to mainly be a scratching post for my babies since they get bored when I am out of the house. I needed something small since I live in a fairly small apartment. It was in an area the cats do not frequent so they have not used it as a scratching post yet, but I moved it today (after having it for 2 weeks) so hopefully they will take a liking to it. I don't feel like it's necessary to return it yet. The cost was so low I don't think I will return it. I just hope they use it eventually.
