Cowhide Waist Fanny Pack-Genuine Leather and Slim with Adjustable Waistband Brown

This is a lovely little bag, and it looks so sleek! Other comments complain about the leather, but it feels pretty thick to me. Maybe not saddle tough, but it's definitely not flimsy- and it's without a doubt real. The rings will definitely hold yer keys, but wouldn't support a water bottle. The strap is quite long and doesn't get too slim in fit, but that's an easy fix with a few stitches to shorten it up. As far as size goes, seems to me that you get to put a phone OR a wallet in there, but both is definitely pushin it. Unless you've still got a flip phone, it sure isn't fitting in the phone holster. Lotsa little pockets though- just stick your phone in the main pocket and add the cards you need out of your wallet into the pocket against your body. Know that once you get your stuff in there, it won't lay quite as nice on your hip and you'll haveta adjust it forward. Overall I like it. Works just as well with a dress as it does with jeans, it doesn't haveta go through belt loops to work. Make sure to take care of the leather and it'll last a good long while.

Love this pack. Great quality and hold so much

Well made of sturdy leather. The strap is strong and reminds me of a finely woven seat belt material. Consequently, the strap is a little bit slick and so the buckle adjustment seems to work its way to a larger waist size over time. So, it needs to be readjusted fairly often. Or, you can do what I did and just adjust it to the largest size and wear it as a cross-body bag. A man actually came up to me at SAM's Club to tell me how cool he thought my cross-body bag was. It is a handsome bag. I keep my smart phone in the largest pocket, tri-fold wallet in the front zipper compartment and other items in the flap pocket in front. There is also a zipper compartment within the large zipper compartment and another zipper compartment on the back of the bag good for a holding a zip lock bag with a few Tylenol, vitamins, a contact lens case or something flat and small as it is up against your body.. There are also a few metal rings you can clip with carabiner attachment for keys, etc. Overall, it is well-made, sturdy, handsome and useful. I didn't give it 5 starts because the strap/buckle slippage issue.

This is a great and practical travel companion with Plenty of pockets and space. The leather is supple and durable, and the craftsmanship is wonderful! Very high quality item at an affordable price point!

It's certainly not high quality leather for rigorous use as advertised, but it's really soft. My biggest issue is where the d-rings are held on being fragile, I'm going to have to reinforce them. The belt strap is wait too big, but I plan on modifying it anyhow. Frankly, I wish it had a belt that could easily be replace connecting to an additional set of d-rings. The pockets aren't quite as great as I'd hoped, and the size is just so that a phone prevents it from sitting right around the hip or waist. With a little bit of work, it should be a very comfortable and solid bag.

After years of lugging a large purse around, my wife decided to go a bit more minimalist and asked me to order this fanny pack for her. It has turned out to be ideal for her needs. There are plenty of pockets and more than enough room for her essentials when we go out. She particularly likes the ring to attach her keys to as well as the easily adjusted waist band. That makes it very convenient to adjust as her clothing changes with the seasons. One of her first tests for this was how comfortable it is while driving and wearing a seat belt. It passed with an A+! Another factor we considered was security. This is a lot less prone to being snatched like a regular purse or handbag can be. Plus she's not likely to leave it unattended in a shopping cart either. It appears to be very well made and should be durable, but only time will tell. As soon as she got this set up with her essentials and took it shopping she had me order another one in black. It definitely deserves the 5 stars we're giving it.
