o I never write reviews but feel I must on this product. My husband and I have purchase MANY products trying to capture our infants hand and foot prints including lots of different ink products on the market and other impression material. This stuff is AWESOME! Some pointers I recommend: You MUST knead the material for 2-3 minutes as directed. I used books on either end when rolling it out to make it perfectly even and a marble rolling pin (don't even bother with the one in the kit). When you roll it out roll only in one direction to help keep it from sticking to the rolling pin. When you make the impression I put Johnson and Johnson baby lotion on the hand and foot first to keep it from sticking to the material (make sure you apply enough)! The best part is even if you mess up you can re-roll the material as many times as you need (we did about 6-7x for the hand print!) About 12 hours into the drying process peel it off the tin foil and flip it over for the other 12 hours to dry (and keep it from curving in). If you use your material wisely you actually have enough to make a hand and foot print from the package. I also managed to turn the frame right side up and put both the hand and foot print in the designated spot along with our infants picture. It looks AMAZING and Pearhead is wonderful to work with!! If the product does not come out of the package difficultly (sticking to the sides) then it's probably no good. (I bought 6 ornament impression kits as well and they were drier and made awful prints. I called the company and they sent me out 6 replacements for FREE)! They also did that for the ink kit we bought that didn't work out as well. This is so easy to use and the instructions are very simple to follow. The only hard this is to hold the baby’s foot steady for the imprint to work 😅 but that’s expected. This is a great memory to make with our kiddos ❤️

Do not buy. As previous reviews state the mold is tough to roll out evenly and even harder to get a print. I went to paint it and the paint was dried out and after a week it still hadn’t set. I ended up throwing it away and too close to Christmas to do another one. Don’t waste your money.

We bought two of these baby prints ornaments to cherish a memory of our son, and we've been very pleased with them since we hung them on our wall in 2017.

I bought to make an ornament as a memorial keepsake for my two miscarried babies and it was perfect. The clay was easy to knead out and wasn’t too sticky or messy. The letter and number stampers work great too, just be careful when using them because if you stamp it into the clay too hard, it will leave a rectangle outline. It took a few days to dry by it comes with ribbon to hang it and a little frame that it can rest on too. My only complaints are that the paint came completely hardened and dried out which was disappointing and it had a strong smell. I was fine with it but I imagine it could be bothersome to babies so just wash it off well.

Very nice exactly as I expected , worth the money

Material is similar to clay. However, when it dries, it's not hard, it's more foamy. Also, the paint it came with was completely dried out. So we had to use something else, otherwise, not bad for the price. And I really like the then it comes with letter and number stamps.

We go this product for our first child's baby shower and I ordered one for my second. The best thing is that the clay is not messy. It takes several tries to get your infant's hand/foot print done right. We are dealing with clenched fists and rolled up toes. The clay re-rolled easily. It took 6 tries for my son's hand and it was no problem. TIP: I used the backside of the clay after I rolled because it was smoother. The leftover clay was just enough for a foot print. The plastic ring is tricky. But bending it around a bit got the circle I desired. You want a home-made look to the project anyway. After, you can pick out a cute paper background and glue gun it in to a shadow box.

Easy to use and love that there is two in case you make a mistake

+ simple and clear instructions - imprint looses structure as it dries, making it useless basically

This is a great mold product for the price! I was shocked by all the negative reviews about it not working or being too difficult (I suspect they didn't wet the baby's feet/hands). If you follow the simple instructions it works great! And there is enough to make multiple pieces! Its super simple to use, just a foamy type product you flatten and then you wet what you want to imprint and push it in. You do have to push it a bit more than a baby would stomp into it but not super hard. We did my 3 month olds prints and it was fine as well as my cats print with the extra. We used our own shapes for cutting. It dries super lightweight so you can hang it anywhere (this was what we wanted to put it in our xmas tree). It dries to a foam material which can be painted and sanded. We sanded it to clean up the edges and marks we accidentally made. It can also be cut to shape better. All in all we are very happy with this product and will buy it again!
