We have two violins in our home and my son is currently trying to learn and this item has helped him. He plays clarinet so trying to learn the violin it can be confusing at first with the finger placements. This has been a great tool for him to use for practice. It does stick well and didn’t leave any residue. Clear instructions for application as well. And if you apply it correctly each mark is in tune. True to size. Review: Super helpful, easy to apply - this thing is great! you can't see the letters too well when you play, but it still is a good visual guide for where to put your fingers if you have an idea of what notes are on each string. I've been practicing songs while holding it like a mandonlin/guitar to get a little muscle memory down before putting my bow to it- and i found the sticker super helpful for that! I even accidentally stuck it a bit in a spot i didn't want it...but it peeled off easily and I was able to fix it. Will write back if/when I take it off. ## Features - Learn Notes on Your Violin: This violin finger guide helps the adult beginner connect note names with finger placement; use the violin stickers as a visual reference while practicing scales and melodies during lessons or independent practice at home. - Recognize Notes by Shape: These violin stickers use triangles for open strings, squares for natural notes, & blue ovals for sharps and flats; an alternative to violin finger tape that helps you recognize note types while you explore all four strings. - Explore Playing Positions: This violin finger guide includes position markers to support shifting practice and sharp and flat direction cues, an alternative to violin fingerboard tape for learning note locations and exploring scales in different keys. - Easy-to-Use Violin Fretboard Stickers: The self-adhesive backing keeps these violin stickers in place while you play; once you learn the notes, remove the violin finger guide without a sticky mess and practice finding notes without the visual markers. - Note the Difference: Weston’s Fantastic Finger Guides were created over several years by an orchestra teacher who wanted a practical yet fun way for his own middle school orchestra students to learn their notes; a violin finger guide for note study. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B082VWWSZJ | | Back Material Type | map | | Best Sellers Rank | #843 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #2 in Violin Parts | | Brand | FFG NOTE THE DIFFERENCE | | Brand Name | FFG NOTE THE DIFFERENCE | | Color | brown | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 4,069 Reviews | | Finish Type | Painted | | Included Components | violin finger guide, sharp/flat direction indicator, position indicator | | Instrument | Violin | | Instrument Size | 4/4 size | | Item Dimensions | 5.12 x 2.95 x 0.04 inches | | Item Highlight | Violin stickers for the adult beginner, an alternative to violin finger tape for learning notes and practicing finger spacing | | Item Weight | 8.53 g | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 5.12 x 2.95 x 0.04 inches | | Manufacturer | Fantastic Finger Guides LLC | | Manufacturer Part Number | Violin Finger Guide | | Model Name | Fantastic Finger Guide | | Model Number | Violin Finger Guide | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Strings | 4 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Size | 4/4 size | | String Material Type | bronze | | Top Material Type | Plastic | | UPC | 850030850027 738639685762 | | Warranty Description | 30 day return money back guarantee. | ## Product Details - **Back Material Type:** map - **Brand:** FFG NOTE THE DIFFERENCE - **Color:** brown - **Finish Type:** Painted - **Instrument:** Violin - **Item Weight:** 8.53 g - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 5.12 x 2.95 x 0.04 inches - **Size:** 4/4 size - **String Material Type:** bronze - **Top Material Type:** Plastic ## Images ![Fantastic Finger Guide Violin Finger Guide, Note Stickers for Beginners 4/4 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81CQtUuGB+L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Do you have a version for left-handed players?** A: Yes I do have a left handed version. I am planning to upload the product picture and product to Amazon this week and will post again when it is available. **Q: Are these packaged properly so they don't get wrinkled/folded/damaged during shipping? Had bad luck with a different brand that showed up crumpled.** A: They are packaged properly and made in the USA. The only reason that there would be any damage would be because of the shipping company. Your purchase comes with FANTASTIC customer service. If you have any issues you can reach out to inventor per the information that comes with the packaging for assistance. **Q: Hello, 2 weeks ago you sent a email to me that you will make the 1/2 size guide available in Canada. Its already two weeks as of today and no guides.** A: I sent them out very soon after responding to your request. They are right now stuck in customs at the border. I am working daily with the carrier to get them through customs and into the Amazon warehouses in Canada. I have also included in the shipment 1/4, & 3/4 size violins, 4/4 cellos & 3/4 cellos. I am hoping in the future to have ample supply of all the finger guides as found in the US market available for purchase in Canada. Please be patient as I work out the kinks that come with going international. **Q: Is there a fantastic finger guide for full and fractional sized viola?** A: I have created the Fantastic Finger Guides for the entire orchestra and use them in my middle school orchestra program with my beginner and intermediate students. I have been testing them with my own middle school orchestra for the last 2 years. I am planning to release guides for viola in full and fractional sides by the end of May or hopefully earlier. Please check in periodically. Thank you for your patience as I expand the product line. I am building out the line in steps to ensure that customers have the best experience possible. In February I launched the full size cello and this month I will release the guitar and ukulele. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for beginners *by K***X on May 26, 2026* This is my second time buying this. But these are perfect. A little misaligned but I chock that up to each violin being differently unique. Fit both my full size violins just as it should, clear and easy to read even from a playing position. And the side notation and tips are very useful reminders for beginners. Time will tell if they last long enough for the price. ## Frequently Bought Together - Fantastic Finger Guide for Violins Kids/Adult Beginner | Stringed Musical Instruments | Fingerboard and Fretboard Stickers for Learning All Notes | Play or Fiddle, 4/4-Size - Essential Elements for Strings - Violin Book 1 with EEi | Beginner Violin Method Book with Online Music Lessons | Hal Leonard Essential Elements Series for Classroom and Self-Study - How to Play Violin in 14 Days: Daily Violin Lessons for Absolute Beginners (Play Music in 14 Days) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/175535055-fantastic-finger-guide-violin-finger-guide-note-stickers-for-beginners](https://www.desertcart.is/products/175535055-fantastic-finger-guide-violin-finger-guide-note-stickers-for-beginners) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
