I have just started to learn the violin, but bow I had didn't feel right... I can't explain what I mean by that... but anyway, I looked around and saw this, it looked striking and matched perfectly with the violin I have. I figured spending a bit on a good bow would be worth it in the long run, so I decided to get it. It. Is. BEAUTIFUL. The finish on it is simply stunning, it feels amazing to hold, nice and lightweight, and the black hair really sets it off. Considering the only bow I have to compare it to felt decidedly low quality, I would find it difficult to give a fair comparison as to how it would compare to other quality bows, but for my personal experience, it gives a wonderful, consistent tone and travels smoothly over the strings. It is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship, feels outstanding to hold and sounds great. Should I ever need to purchase another bow, I would most definitely get myself another one of these.

Using this on my Yamaha silent violin and it has a really rich and lovely sound. The bow appears to be made from high quality materials and was well packaged!

I'm recently starting to play again after a year off (previously an advance player) needed a quick replacement and this gets the job done well, the sound is good and it's weighted well. Would recommend.

My wife plays a 50-year-old Chinese student violin too often, too loud and not particularly well. Despite this, I still love her. The bow hasn't made her sound any better, but she reports that it feels good in her hand and plays nicely. She's happy, and that makes me happy.

I bought this bow in 3/4 size about a year ago now for my son as he's progressing towards intermediate levels and no longer a beginner (AMEB 4-5). The bow comes safely and well packaged from the seller and is of a good quality carbon and Mongolian horse hair. My son and I both noticed an immediate improvement to the sound that his violin produces over his old beginner level bow and we were very happy with the purchase. We had some small issues and questions with the bow and Vingobow provided excellent communication and customer service which is very reassuring. It is very good value for money for the price of the bow, when my son moves onto a full 4/4 size I'll look to Vingobow again for one of their more advanced bows for quality and value for money.
