What is the end tip diameter? I am wondering if I can run them through a standard shoe type eyelet to store hanging and not in use...

I tried to enter the tip through a standard shoe (tennis) and it cannot run through.

Would these be reliable for camping or playing airsoft to keep zippers tight and secure!?

You can use them for camping but depends on what you want to do. They are 3" long. I would probably get the larger ones for camping. Personally use would stick with bungee cords or carabiners for camp just by as they are sturdier and would keep gear more secure. I would use these camping to maybe hang my headlamp in my tent or hd some of the tent poles for storage. The heads of these are about 1/4 in and may be kinda big for any zippers that I have seen. Haven't played airsoft so not sure how big the zippers are.

how thick is the 3 inch one?

The middle part is 3/8 inch thick, but the ends are at least 1/4 inch.

Sehr praktisch

Ich habe diese "Sticks" nun an meiner Magnetpinnwand an einem Magneten gelagert, somit sind sie immer schnell griffbereit. Sie sind recht robust und sehr leicht anzuwenden. Nie wieder verknotete Kopfhörer oder nerviger Ladekabelsalat im Rucksack. Ich werde mir auf jeden Fall nocheinmal einige dieser Teile nachbestellen. Falls es interessiert: Ich habe nach 15 Tagen meine Ware erhalten, Verkäufer war bei mir "BIC WAREHOUSE". Danke für den unproblematischen Versand. Falls diese Rezension geholfen hat, würde ich mich über ein "Hilfreich" freuen. =)

Always handy to have around

I have used Gear Ties for years, in various sizes from 3" to 12". They work very well and just don't wear out. The ties are super flexible and will wrap around something and then unwrap easily. I have some new items that I wanted to be able tie up cables on. This package was very reasonably priced and are just what I needed. Always handy to have some of these available. This 6" size is great for securing things like power cords.

Solid, cheap, last. All means worth buying.

These are like super strength twist ties. They're very handy for making all the cables I need to carry when I travel for work (charger cables, computer cables, etc) all neat & tidy. Makes it a lot easier to find what you need in your bag. Definitely would buy them again. The only thing I'd mention is they are only about 3" long and often I end up using two for a longer set of cables (charging cables for the laptop for instance) vs 1 of them on say a headphone cable.
