The LyxPro connectors supplied are high quality and fully compatible with standard XLR connections and certainly on par with those from Neutrik.The cable is well constructed with good soldering apparent on pin 1. While the solder joints on the signal pins (2 & 3) are covered with shrink wrap, none of the insulation looking overheated from soldering and wiring is overall very neat. My guess is that these are machine assembled and if so are likely to be of very consistent quality.In net, the cable is overall very robust and should be very durable. All things considered, they function as well as Mogami Studio Gold cables and are much less expensive. I doubt you can obtain significantly better XLR cable functionality for any price.
