Seeds grew well enough, gave me sizeable plants to be proud of, and the fruits were decent. Just be aware, as an amateur grower, you will probably want some bonemeal fertilizer

So far, so good!
Just started some seeds indoors in Southern California a few days ago (Feb 16, 2025). It’s now Feb 20 and I’m already beginning to see some seeds sprout. So far, 2 of my 6 “pots” are showing signs of life. I planted 3 seeds per “pot” with the expectation that not every seed would be viable. I’ll update my review if more begin peeking their heads out, which I expect they will. All in all, I’m quite pleased and excited to see how the plants do when they’re ready to be planted in the garden. Edit: It’s now April 21 and my beefsteak seedlings have become healthy, thriving plants. One of the four has just started to develop flowers - I’ll update again once fruiting begins.

First order lost, free replacement!
So I ordered these seeds and they disappeared but when I called the company I got a free reship no questions asked. It worked, the second package arrived safely and they have completed germination stage and are now in soil on shelves. I did rate four stars for flavor although I won't taste a tomato sandwich until September, the strategy I employ for tomato gardening is one which has worked for me for years and beefsteak is my favorite variety. First, germinate, then grow indoors until risk of frost is gone. Here, that's June. The plants need a double layered deer-fence, and individual wire cages for support plus plastic coverings. I had a hailstorm kill half my crop once, not happening with this set up. I collect rain water for the maters, because I think chlorine is no good for them. Every few years I get a bad outbreak of blate which turns most of the tomatos black. I save the seeds for growing next year and so far they continue to germinate however after the third year the tomatos stop turning red and begin to ripen fully at a yellow orange color which makes me look around for new seeds. Thank you!

Decent.
Germinated ok, quite small compared to other seeds I have started. Remains to be seen on how they produce.

Healthy plants from these seeds.
I put these seeds in my Aero Garden 2 weeks ago and just repotted to fill size pots. The plants are 10-12” tall and thick stems.

Seed packet wasn't homogenous
I got 100% germination rate on the 18 seeds I attempted from a single packet. This cohort of seedlings moved outside after the last day of frost. Now that I have fruit I can see that 3 are actually Beefsteak, 5 came out as some sort of determinate cherry tomato, and the rest came out as various forms of Roma including one that was a pomodoro. The amount of effort you put in to get to the point of harvest is gigantic. When you end up with something other than what you thought you grew, there is no way a company can ever repay you for the injury inflicted.

Super tiny? See photo.
We've grown Beefsteak Tomatoes before... these have been the longest to grow. Planted outside in may as small sprouts(as one does)... finally got 1... ONE and it's like the size of a USA quarter
