Great strings, great value - world's fastest customer service.
I have been purchasing EB strings since they first became available in the late-60's/early 70's. They have always delivered exactly what I wanted and expected. I have occasionally tried more bespoke brands, but never found them to outshine the EBs. Recently, I restrung a banjo with loop-end strings, and the top D string broke at the loop about 1/2 step away from the target tuning. Checked to make sure there wasn't a burr anywhere on the bridge or tailpiece. I contacted them with my story, but realized that they had no reason to believe this wasn't simply user error. They responded within 15 minutes(!) and sent out a new set of strings. In my 50+ years of using EBs that was my first "customer service" interaction, and they couldn't have done any better. Great strings, great value.

Amazing strings.
I love these strings. I have put them on three of my banjos and in each case they transformed the sound in a beautiful way. I had been on a quest to find the "perfect" strings and had tried most of the popular brands but these strings produced beautiful harp like tones with great sustain and purity of tone.

Works well. Has a bit of a learning curve.
I'm using it for my guitar practice. Metronome works quite well as does the tuner, which is very accurate. Typical metronome sound. Changing tempo is easy, but getting the downbeat where you want it takes a little practice. I'm still figuring that out.

An Old Favorite
I discovered Ernie Ball lightweight strings when I played coffee houses some 45 years ago. They had that extra "twangy" sound I was looking for folk music and were easy on the fingers. The .009 and .010 strings are a little prone to breaking, so DON'T OVERTIGHTEN THEM! If you are a little bit careful and use an electronic tuner, you shouldn't have any more problems than you would with any other strings. Time proven strings that perform really well and don't cost an arm and a leg.

Excellent quality and sound
Well made banjo strings, excellent quality and fit. Fitted and tensioned, allowed to stretch over a few days ,tuned up perfectly. Used on a turn of the century restored antique five string banjo. Working perfectly, sounds great, would recommend these strings.
