Kids Leave-In Conditioner - Eliminate Frizz & Define Curls, 8 fl.oz.

Product is thick and goes a long way. Moisturises my son’s 3C hair nicely and eliminates dryness for the entire day. Does not leave a white residue on his hair like some other products either. Once I use this, I find that I don’t need a detangler as the brush goes right through his hair and my son is not crying, I then lightly spray an oil mixture I made of jojoba, castor oil and lavender oil (for fragrance) on his hair and gently work it in to seal in the moisture. This is better than the Shea Moisture Curl butter.

I have been using this product for about two years and it is my Holy Grail leave-in. I especially appreciate the lack of fragrance. There is a review stating that this product uses false advertising because it says "no alcohol" on the front but contains cetearyl/stearyl alcohol. The FDA allows products to be labled as "no alcohol" when they contain these ingredients because they are fatty alcohols and therefore chemically different to rubbing alcohol for example. Cetearyl/Stearyl are actually emulsifying agents that help bind the formula together. They also help moisturize the hair and are found in natural oils like coconut oil. I wish people would do their research and understand the science. Also if a product does not work for you it doesn't make it a bad product. I have sensitive skin and this product works great for me. The shipping is atrocious. It is never delivered when it is promised. It will probably arrive damaged. Both of these things have happened multiple times to me when ordering this product. The shipment I received today had been opened and retaped. It was leaking, and it looked like the method of delivery was kicking. As in the kicked it all the way to my porch.

This is the only leave in conditioner that works for daughter's hair. It provides moisture & shine while promoting bouncy curls!

I know this product works well on lots of hair types. My son actually does have "mixed" (1/2 black, 1/2 white) hair and this works so well. It tames and softens his kinky curls and detangles well. It lasts for most of the day too, as it kinda "sets" his hair. I've always used the regular Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner on his hair but I bought this kids version because it was less expensive for the amount that you get. I was afraid that it wouldn't be strong enough for his kinky curls since its the kids version, but it works great! Great product!

I purchased this for my daughter about 3 months ago. She is 18 months old and has very tight curly hair, It is very hard to comb her hair out, and at her age get her to sit still. I have found that this conditoner works best if I put it in while she is still in the bathtub with soaking wet hair after a shampoo. I put about 2 pumps and rub it in with my hands and then comb it out with a detangler. It turns her hair white but it always sinks in over time and her hair is really easy to style in the mornings. This product is working for us right now and I have seen no breakage like before when I was using a brand I got from Sally's.

Define my curls without being crispy!

Two months ago, I realized that my daughter 's 3B hair needed a change in routine. I'd previously been using a different -- and very good -- brand that was cheaper, but I wanted to start actively using leave-in conditioner in her hair. Enter Mixed Chicks' leave-in conditioner. I was amazed. After doing my usual bath regimen for my daughter's hair, I put in a squirt of Mixed Chicks' leave in conditioner and worked it through her hair. And it works wonders. I can give numerous praises of this product: • Even though the directions on the bottle say to use a generous amount, my daughter's huge afro only required one squirt to do its magic. Any more leaves it weighed down with product and crunchy (something I try to avoid). Obviously, this is a huge plus because it also means that the bottle lasts longer. • It leaves my daughter's hair soft and silky smooth -- even more than it was before. Finger combing her hair is like touching cotton candy. Seriously... it's that good. • The definition that this conditioner gives my daughter's curls is MIND-BLOWING. Her hair looks absolutely gorgeous after it air dries, and often, I don't bother with curl creme, particularly if it's a day when we're staying home. Of course, YMMV on all of these points, but Mixed Chicks' Leave-In Conditioner is now a staple in my daughter's hair regimen. It definitely does what it's supposed to, and it's worth the splurge.

So - having to switch to scent free 1.5 yrs ago, has been pretty disappointing. Why are the hypoallergenic products so drying? Well, I have found a way to overcome that. Quickly, for the horrid scent free shampoos we get to pick from - I dilute- a Whole lot. And avoid ends! Put conditioner on ends before washing. I got a nozzled container and concentrate on scalp. And, I found some glycerin I had and add a bit to the water shampoo mixture - maybe 1/4 tsp to 4 ounces - and it helps So much w the cycle of wash - dry irritated scalp. But on to the Review! Thiscis my fave scent free product. I Now have mast cell activation syndrome. And dry scalp. But working on that. This product encourages wave in a natural way, provides protection, a little Perfect hold w no crunch or stickiness for 3 Days (!!!) and I can easily refresh w water or leave in if feeling dry. And I do not feel it harms in any way. And its easy to rinse out. I do dilute it - put in palms and add water and apply. Great product!

I use this for my own (adult) hair, as it doesn't contain perfumes and other things that give me an allergic reaction. It may not leave my hair quite as shiny as good adult products, but it also doesn't irritate my scalp, nor my sinuses, and does a good enough job on my hair. I am glad I found this.

This product has no added fragrance. I am not sure why they don't put this in the name of the product, it would make it a lot easier to spot it! The next unscented product for curly afro types is LUS's fragrance free styler which costs £19 plus shipping, whereas a full size of this is under £10. Unlike many fragrance free products, this doesn't have a weird stinky smell. It has a light chemical scent but you'd have to have it right up against your nose to smell it, it's very faint. It leaves curls well defined and has some hold, it does not weigh my hair down or make it look greasy but does it leave soft and moisturised. Overall, it's a great find and I do recommend it.

fast delievery, product as expected. the only thing i dont like is that the product has dimethicone in it which is a silicon and sadly i didnt check online for the ingredient list.

Love this product on a 2 year old with fuzzy hair. Application seems to remain intact even after wetting hair in the bath the next day. Would definitely recommend.
