Can you use the shock on command outside of the alarm clock?

Hi! You can do it by pressing the front face of the device (where the logo is located)

it’s a good product. However I can only get it to shock when it’s on really tight and it’s really uncomfortable. Is this the norm?

Hi Thomas! We believe that you are currently experiencing is a conductivity issues. This is fairly easy to fix. Simply moisturize the area where you wear your Pavlok, you can also try by using it on the inside of your wrist.
