Will the worse one do 1920 x 1200?

The maximum I can get out of either is 1920 x 1080 (but that may be down to the monitor that I am using).. hope this helps

Will this work with acer predator Helios 300

Hello, This adapter supports both Windows and MacOS, so is compatible with laptops running on Windows. Note that one of the HDMI ports can output resolutions up to 4K, while the other can output resolutions up to 2048 x 1152.

I do not have usb 3.0 for my mac, only usb c. can use this with usb c adapter?

i use this connected to a USB c port. Connect USBc to 4 port USB 3 hub, then this to one of the usb ports. works fine

Can an extra monitor be in Extended and Rotation mode at the same time? That is, can it be used in portrait mode?

This only works only on windows, not mac devices.
