The price is right and the toner works very well.

The toner works well, however it is a little pricey. I have noticed that it has gone down since i placed it on my wish list by 24% ($115.99 -> $87.76 right now) so that helps.Since this toner has the sensor, it will probably stop exactly at the 5,000 mark regardless of toner that is left; but for our house this is enough to last a long time.

I just bought a new printer, replacing my 8 year-old Samsung laser with this one. The new printers have counter chips in the toner/drum units, and will stop printing when the counter reaches a preset limit, regardless of the actual toner left in the cartridge. This is pricey, as all of the OEM Samsungs are, but the quality is excellent. Not sure if one can use 3rd party units anymore with the chips in them. This is a high yield unit (5000 copies). They also sell the regular yield unit (2000 copies). Recommended.

This will be a rating of the identical toner cartridge that was just replaced, also rated 5K. It yielded exactly 4035 impressions. The first toner cartridge that came with the printer was rated 2K and yielded exactly 1395 impressions. On this basis, the cartridge just installed cannot be expected to achieve its impression rating. That said, the printer and the cartridges caused me no problems, and the impressions made required usually required more coverage than the basis of the company ratings for the cartridges.

Product arrived on time and has performed well for the three weeks we have had it.

The expensive Samsung cartridges (2) I purchased did not work. I have two cartridges that do not work and a printer where I can not print anything untill I secure working Samsung print cartridges. Very poor choice in product (Samsung). It is taking too long to have them returned and my money refunded. I am Very dissatisfied with this purchase and the product.I do not recommend to anyone.

I have tried 'off brand' substitutes, with great disappointment. While the cost of the Samsung toner is rediculous, at least it works as it should. (We all know, of course, that printer companies make their money selling toner/ink, not so much from the printers themselves. Still, one always feels ripped off paying exorbitant prices for their products.)
