WAV ENFORCER Double-Sided Fade Brush

Good brush. Just like the picture and it feels sturdy. The true test is time.

I love having the two-in-one setup & I am coming to really respect the Wav Enforcer brand for the quality. PRO: -- The brush is really well-made and solid. The shape of the handle makes it easy to grip and use. -- The bristles are truly 100% boar - no nylon reinforcement - and that is really important to me. -- The "firm" side is moderately firm which is enough to penetrate my fairly thick and natural 4C hair. I have similar brushes that are labeled as "firm" and are more suited to thinner, straighter, or shorter hair. -- The softer side is also moderately soft - not as soft as some others labeled as soft. It is the perfect balance of softly firm. -- I think that these brushes are better for the thicker Afro-style hair types than some others. -- The "hard" side is not damaging while it still does the job of reaching my scalp and the softer one is good at pulling the natural oils down the hair shaft. Of course, boar bristle brushes are wonderful for the days when my hair has been freshly shampooed. The bristles soften my hair better than any products I use to do that job on "fresh hair". I'm glad that I got 2 of these, I'm hooked and will be looking at other brushes from this line.

The brush lost a lot of bristles when I was prepping it to be ready for use, but after that initial little pile of bristles was lost, it doesn't have a shedding problem anymore. I ordered the set of two of these, one of the brushes had bristles that were totally even the other brush had some with uneven bristles sticking up (fixable with a little trim). The wood can also have defects that probably won't effect the usefulness of the brush. The soft side is pretty much useless for me (it might make a good skin brush for someone that doesn't like firm bristles, but that's not me). The firm side has nice stiff bristles that can lay down long 3C and 4A hair and if you have a steady hand it can lay baby hair nicely too. So these brushes are not just for men and for the price it's not hard to get one for each member of one's family. If they ever make a narrow baby hair brush using the same firm 100% natural boar bristles on this brush I will get several of those too.

I am the father of 6 boys and brother to 3 more. I set out to find the best brush to give them. I ordered 10+ of the different top rated brushes and tried them all. I chose this brush because I like the dual heads. One firm which what I use the most because it feels great on your scalp, and a softer side for finishing off your hair or beard. I have normal hair and beard. All of my sons and brothers agree!! My only wish is that it had a longer handle.

Bought for my boyfriend as I didn't know whether to get a soft or a hard. As he was always using my hog hair brush, this was a great value and a good size. Now we have one at his and mine and I don't have to use his horrible nylon ones.
