Delicious! Canโt find in any stores near me, so itโs great to be able to get it. Nice to have special treats for the holidays.

Good product and value!
One of the best value for lumpfish and not as salty as some other brands. Taste similar to russian caviar for a lot less!

Flying fish roe is mush better than this
Skip this one. It's too soft, too bland, and too salty. Buy flying fish roe if you want something tasty.

Great product
Product arrived in a timely fashion and was excellently packed and protected. (multiple cold packs included) with instructions to keep refrigerated. Product was in very good condition and not overly salted... after all it is labeled as roe and not caviar, which tends to be much saltier. I also question as to whether my jar might be mis-labeled, as the eggs are noticeably smaller (more like flying fish roe) than other lumpfish eggs (black) I have seen. I am not complaining, as they are perfect for my sushi applications. Will buy again.

Red. Very, very red.
The flavor is mild with more of a "squish" than a "pop" but overall acceptable for the price. The off-putting thing, however, is the violently red color that uniformly saturates everything in the jar. When I was a child my mother made "Harvard beets" a sort of sweet-and-sour beets with tiny, shiny red beet cubes suspended in bright red sauce. This product is (visually) the Harvard beets of caviar. Tiny, shiny pearls of roe suspended in... some kind of red fluid. I believe it's true that "we eat first with our eyes" and I I'm not 'dying' to eat this product again.

Won't go wrong buying the stuff. Delicious!
I was honestly discouraged when I opened the jar to find an unbelievable amount of pink dye which made it taste off to me. I ended up dumping the jar in a strainer and gentle rinse it until the water ran clear, let it strain for a min or 2 then put it back in the jar and it tasted normal after that. I can't talk as to how that holds for longer periods of time since most of the preservatives went down the drain when I rinsed it, but it only lasted about a week in the fridge in my house before it was gone and it held well for that period of time. Over all, great buy.
