Might not be the best solution after all 😞
This product seems to work very well , and I like it , but a recent experience with it has me wondering how it actually " eliminates " odors . I'm wondering if this liquid essentially " coats " the fabric at a molecular level , thus sealing the odor producing bacteria or chemicals with the fabric , like some awful household air sprays do on furniture fabric and as an interior air dispersant . Here's the issue I may be having with this product . I have several 800 GSM Turkish bath sheets , very heavy and thick . I've had them about 18 months and started to notice they began presenting a slight odor after laundering that was noticable beyong the scent of the detergent ( Tide powdered ) . So I tried the powdered " odor eliminating " enzymes , in particular a leading , highly rated brand I found here on Amazon , and after about two months of consistent use I don't believe the enzymes made a bit of difference . The odors seemed to be about the same , wash after wash . So I searched and read reviews , and in doing so found this product , LOE . I ordered it , started using it and was shocked to realize it actually WORKS ! The offensive , low key odor in my towels was gone . So I've been using it for about 6 months or so and this past week I noticed something awful . A day or two before I had washed 3 or 4 of my towels , plus some t shirts and underwear together , adding Harris Washing soda , Harris Borax , Tide detergent , the full dose of LOE and a cup of regular bleach . So this particular morning I showered and used one of the towels I had just laundered to dry off . As I toweled off , I got hit with the most disgusting , fishy / metallic odor . I honestly thought it was me and thought maybe I absent mindedly forgot to soap up , so I repeated the process and began to towel off again . The odor was still present , and when I went to get dressed , I could swear I smelled it even more as I pulled a tshirt on . Well , long story short , I realized that in using this product , DO NOT USE IT WITH BLEACH . Apparently it will react with bleach and create a permanent odor in fabrics . I researched this , mentioning the brand name of the product and it's intended use , and got confirmation from two sources that it will create a very offensive odor when mixed with bleach . Finally , the reason why I question HOW this product supposedly eliminates odors is because after all of this , I've washed the three towels and my underwear and t shirts SEVERAL times , using only hot water , Tide and the Harris water conditioning additives . Strangely , with one towel the odor seems to have been removed ( or maybe it wasn't fully exposed to the LOE during the wash cycle ), one seems about the same , and the third seems to have an INCREASED odor , and most of my tshirts ( Gildan 100% cotton ) have the odor also , while my underwear ( cotton / elastane trunks ) seem to smell like Tide . It seems as though the odor is permanently embedded or maybe burned into the fibers of some of my items . I think I will instead begin to use 99% industrial vinegar diluted to 5% with pure baking soda as a pre wash / rinse for built up odors before washing with detergent in a regular cycle from now on . I believe this product doesn't actually remove odors , rather , it seals them leaving a chemical film and ultimately changing the fabric in doing so .

Works quite well
I bought this because, i would find washing the dogs blankets (especially after boarding) they were still smelly even after 2 washes. I add just a small amount (measuring out the amount using the reservoir within the bottle) to laundry detergent. Blankets come out smelling fresh and clean after only one wash. No skin irritation for me or pups. Good quality products by this company. I highly recommend this product.

Smells great, expensive, but worth it
It's expensive but it does work. Smells great and really helps with urine order and my dog's "corn chips" smell that is left in anything she happens to sleep on. I used LOE when I worked in a kennel and I have always loved the smell and the ability to use around pets.

The Only Product That Truly Removed Cat Urine Odor — Gentle, Safe, and Effective in One Wash
I’ve tried many products over the years, but Odorcide Laundry Odor Eliminator is the one that truly worked. My beloved cat, Beauty, was in hospice care and spent her last days on my bed due to mobility challenges — at 22 years old. During that time, I washed the waterproof pads covering my bed daily, and with this product, one wash was all it took to completely remove any lingering urine smell. No masking, no repeated washing — just truly clean after a single cycle. I also have sensitivities to some detergents, and this was gentle enough to use every day without causing any skin irritation. I appreciate that it is safe to use in household laundry for both people and pets — very important during such a sensitive time. It was one less thing to worry about when I wanted to focus on making Beauty’s last days as loved and comfortable as possible. It’s well worth the price for something this effective, safe, and easy to use. After years of trying different products, this is the one I trust and will continue to recommend. It gave me peace of mind when I needed it most.

Update NO LONGER disappointed - didn't remove pee pad odor even with 2 wash cycles UPDATE
UPDATE: I received an email from the seller offering a full refund, which I haven't accepted. Since my initial review, I experimented with this product and the other odor eliminating product I've been using and found that using 4 tablespoons (2 ounces) in conjunction with a scoop of the other product did the trick. The 2nd product, OxiClean Odor Blasters did a pretty decent, but not complete job after 2 washes. However, a scoop of OxiClean in the washer tub and 2 ounces of Odorcide Laundry Odor Eliminator Concentrate mixed, not only worked, but the combo eliminated the odor better than bleach and did it in a single wash. So, I raised my rating from 1 star to 4 stars, since the combo of the 2 products resulted in the best results I've seen. I mixed 1 1/2 ounces of the Odorcide with the detergent, then poured 2/3rd of that into the detergent dispenser, 1/3rd into the bleach dispenser (instead of bleach) and 1/2 ounce in the fabric softener dispenser (with no fabric softener). I ran a regular cycle with a 2nd rinse and added the "pretreat option." My goal was to get the pads exposed to the products for as long as possible. I fully expected to have to repeat the process for a second wash cycle, but when I went to check, the pads were clean and odor free. I even checked the dryer after about 30 minutes to see if there was odor when I opened the door and the evaporated water had no foul odor at all. If this product did that by itself, I would have given 5 stars, but I didn't because that required 2 products odor eliminating products together to get those results. Even bleach isn't perfect in a single wash, but this combo did, and bleach ruins the dog pee pads (I use human incontinence pads for dog pads) because after a couple washes in bleach the backing will allow fluid to seep. I'm happy that I was able to find a way to make the product work as I had hoped it would when I purchased it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Read the reviews, was looking forward to a non-bleach odor eliminator for dog pee pads. I followed the directions "For extreme odor loads: Add 1oz." Added 1 ounce and ran a full cycle with pretreat and 2nd rinse. After the machine finished, I opened the door and was slammed by the foul urine odor that I was expecting to be eliminated. I ran the machine a second time, added another ounce, set for pretreat and 2nd rinse, when the washer finished, I opened the door and BAM, the smell was still strong, a little less, but still powerful. There's NO WAY that it works as amazingly well as others have described. In my real-world experience, it seems to be no more effective than just running 2 wash cycles with detergent only. There are much cheaper products that are much more effective, and I won't waste another penny purchasing this again, use at your own risk, maybe I received a bad gallon.

Removes odor from VERY funky gym clothes
I very rarely write reviews for things I buy on Amazon but this stuff really, truly works. I work out in a heated studio and my clothes are dripping wet with sweat afterwards. Seriously, it's like I just got out of the shower. After a few months of wearing them, they gained a permanent funk that I could not eliminate. I tried enzyme boosters, active wear specific detergents but nothing worked. This effectively gets the odor out of my gym clothes without leaving a heavy fragrance or residue/coating. The smell is similar to a traditional laundry detergent, not tropical or perfume-y.

Works great!
Have used this on all the dog bed covers and they smell clean and fresh but not perfumed. No residue felt, which is a bonus. Used with unscented fabric softener and they all seeed to work well together. I’m happy with it so far.

Great product
This product is amazing!! I use reusable pee pads for my dogs and have tried so many products to eliminate the urine odor. Some things seemed to work for a while and then stopped. One wash at full strength and the pads and my washer don't smell anymore

Great product
I’ve been buying this odour eliminator for a little while now. I just noticed it is sold in the large jug, a good money saver, so bonus. I bought it initially because my daughter lives here with six cats, she smokes (only outside) and those odours come in on her clothes, in her hair, and hang around in the air. We also have a dog. So, I was finding the laundry associated with the animals and my daughter weren’t smelling clean even after being laundered. Pot smoke is especially difficult to eradicate. Used in every load of laundry, in the right dose, this is the closest I’ve come to wiping out the smell of pot in clothing. Pretty amazing really considering I’ve put things through three times in the past without this additive, with no success. I stuck my nose in the last load and couldn’t smell it at all. Happy with it and although expensive, it’s worth it for cleaner smelling laundry.
