It’s like 3D viewing. I’ve heard how good these are but I really hesitated to spend the money, thinking they were pricey for a magnifying glass. I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is amazing. The view of the corals and rock work is incredible. The fish up close is trippy but fun. I spent hours last night just moving the magnifier around and watching and seeing things I’ve never seen before. I even added the orange filter they have…that’s a different review though. I can’t wait to get my camera set up and begin photographing! Get this. You won’t regret it!! Review: Awesome! - Is it expensive? Yes! Is it a quality product that functions in the way it was intended, absolutely! It is amazing how far in you can see the tank and how clear everything stays. It does not feel cheap it is well built and heavy. It does come with a magnet to place inside the tank and it is insanely strong, seriously if you have a thin tank don’t slam it! Slide the magnets together. Personally I take this from tank to tank so instead of using the provided magnet I attach it to the magnet algae scraper I already have on that tank. I breed neocaridina and Caridina shrimp so seeing them in a larger size really helps with eye strain. ## Features - Detailed Underwater Viewing: The 5″ optical-grade lens delivers distortion-free magnification with a focal range of 8 to 12 inches, bringing corals, fish, and aquarium details into sharp focus. - Powerful Magnetic Design: Equipped with strong rare-earth magnets that hold securely to glass or acrylic up to 5/8″ thick, allowing smooth, hands-free repositioning for clear underwater viewing. - Ideal for Coral & Fish Observation: Designed for monitoring coral health, spotting small details, or preparing close-up photography, allowing clear and detailed viewing of marine life. - Durable & Secure Build: Rare-earth magnets ensure a strong, stable hold, while the optical acrylic lens provides clear visibility and lasting performance on both glass and acrylic surfaces. - Built with durable materials and precision engineering, the DeepSee Max magnifying glass delivers reliable performance and professional clarity for aquarium enthusiasts. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B081KB2MB8 | | Best Sellers Rank | #35,933 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #201 in Aquarium Lights | | Brand | FL!PPER | | Brand Name | FL!PPER | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 207 Reviews | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 1 years | | Included Components | Deepsee Viewer Max Flipper 5" Magnetic Aquarium Magnifier | | Item Dimensions L x W | 5"L x 5"W | | Item Highlight | For reef & saltwater tanks, optical lens, hands-free underwater use, fits walls to 5/8" thick, see corals, fish & aquascapes Item Highlight For reef & saltwater tanks, optical lens, hands-free underwater use, fits walls to 5/8" thick, see corals, fish & aquascapes See more | | Item Type Name | aquarium-filter-accessories | | Item Weight | 0.55 kg | | Lens Material | Acrylic | | Manufacturer | FL!PPER Aquarium Products | | Manufacturer Part Number | 5" | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Na. | | Model Number | DEEP-BL-PARENT | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 5"L x 5"W | | UPC | 652043949404 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** FL!PPER - **Material:** Acrylic - **Item Weight:** 0.55 Kilograms - **Specific Uses For Product:** Filter - **Style:** versatile - **Color:** Black - **Included Components:** Deepsee Viewer Max Flipper 5" Magnetic Aquarium Magnifier - **EU Spare Part Availability Duration:** 1 Years - **UPC:** 652043949404 - **Manufacturer:** FL!PPER Aquarium Products ## Images ![Flipper Aquarium Magnifying Glass, DeepSee Magnetic Viewer - Max 5" Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71sg3bYMH4L.jpg) ![Flipper Aquarium Magnifying Glass, DeepSee Magnetic Viewer - Max 5" Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71UQ8yqkXsL.jpg) ![Flipper Aquarium Magnifying Glass, DeepSee Magnetic Viewer - Max 5" Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91mGihnwYqL.jpg) ![Flipper Aquarium Magnifying Glass, DeepSee Magnetic Viewer - Max 5" Black - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91y0oLpHKoL.jpg) ![Flipper Aquarium Magnifying Glass, DeepSee Magnetic Viewer - Max 5" Black - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81m+tzFszZL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this have to be touching the glass or can I hover so that I can follow fish around the tank without dragging against glass?** A: It actually hovers slightly above the glass when attached. Only the soft felt touches the glass. If you want to hold it by hand over the glass to follow fish, that will also work **Q: Will it stick to a 1” acrylic tank?** A: No,the magnets are not strong enough for 1". This is rated for 5/8", but may work up to 3/4" in some cases. We should have a Max version for larger tanks available shortly. **Q: Does the magnifying lens go inside the tank or on the outside?** A: The lens goes on the outside of the tank. Magnetic coupler goes on the inside. It moves easily without putting your hands in the tank. **Q: What Size do I need for 150 gallon tank** A: A tank that size would likely require the 5" viewer which has optimal focal range around 6-10" deep into the tank ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing!!!! *by B***E on September 26, 2026* OMG!!
