It works just as well as the brand name. Doesn't taste quite as good though. For the price and the same results it is a no brainer. Helps me get to sleep without all of the tossing, turning. I have not had any side effects like being groggy in the morning. I will be buying more.

I buy this for my husband who is a very light sleeper, anything can wake him up at night and this helps a lot. It is not addictive but does make you slightly drowsy in the morning if you don't sleep.enough hours.

I have been taking a sleep-aid in pill form for quite some time and have to change formulas and types periodically because I get used to them and they don't work well. This is the first time that I have tried a liquid version and was glad to see that Amazon made a less costly version of a national brand. I tried it for the first time last night and fell asleep within a few minutes. Even with pills, it can take up to an hour or more for me to fall asleep, so I was thrilled that this worked so fast. I hope it continues to do so, as I will keep taking it as long as it does. Update: This only worked well the first night. It didn't help at all on following nights, so maybe it's my metabolism and not the product? Who knows.
