I’ve used several different colors of Sunlu’s transparent filament, and it has never disappointed me. This particular color is gorgeous — vibrant, clean, and perfect for the project I bought it for. I’m currently making transparent characters from The Very Hungry Caterpillar so my wife can use them with her preschool students. The idea is that the kids can act out the story on their light table as she reads, and I think they’re going to absolutely love it. As expected from Sunlu, the filament prints beautifully. It’s easy to work with, consistently feeds well, and the spool is tightly wound with no tangles. I’m running it on my Bambu printer, and it performs great. Overall, I’m really impressed with how bright and crisp the prints look.

This SUNLU 4KG PLA filament bundle is great. SUNLU has been very reliable for me, and this bundle prints smoothly with clean results. The filament feeds well, sticks nicely, and gives consistent prints. Great quality, good value, and definitely a brand I keep coming back to.

I am equally satisfied with both the print quality and the strength of the material. The finished prints are clean and neat, with virtually no stringing or overspill, and the surface finish is uniform. Throughout the entire process, there were no issues such as nozzle clogs, filament breaks, or inconsistent extrusion. The material exhibits excellent bed adhesion and interlayer bonding, resulting in parts with good toughness—they are not brittle and are resistant to breaking. Given this level of quality, the price is very competitive. After comparing it in actual use, I believe it is on par with the original filament I’ve used before—equally excellent. The filament also has a beautiful, subtle matte finish, resulting in a high-quality, premium-looking final product. The overall user experience is excellent.

Absolutely love the bone white, OD green and tan! Prints well However; every roll I've used produces a failed print do to a bind in the roll. Filament gets stuck between the side of roll and the layer under it. Might have to print a tangle breaker.

As PLA goes it isn't the best, but that's more to do with being a translucent filament rather than being poorly formulated. It prints at normal temperatures, isn't brittle, doesn't clog (which suggests good dimensional accuracy which you would expect from a Sunlu labelled filament. Not inclined to tangle and looks good. Note that transparent PLA is notorious for being prone to hair. You have to fuss with parameters for best results. I've used it for desiccant jars i place in the hub of filament spools as it lets me see the degree of moisture absorption in the filaments. Like all PLA it is NOT very impact resistant, especially if your print is mostly lattice work (gotta have air circulation which means weak walls.)

This big spool is perfect if you use more white than anything! Prints perfect and makes your projects look great! Spool is to big for my printer but it makes a perfect to respool my smaller spools. I dont mind the time it takes to respool from this large spool. Definitely worth the money if you use alot of 1 color!!

I’ve had good overall results with this SUNLU filament. Print quality has been consistent, layer adhesion is good, and I haven’t had any actual print failures using it. The only downside I’ve noticed is a bit of stringing, mostly during purge/flushing moves or when the print head travels between separate parts on the build plate. It seemed to happen most often toward the middle of a row of prints. It didn’t ruin any prints, but the excess purge filament occasionally built up and clogged the chute in the back, preventing the purge material from falling through properly and causing a pile-up. That said, it’s been very manageable and hasn’t affected the final parts themselves. With minor tuning or more frequent chute checks, it’s not a deal-breaker. Overall, this is a good filament for the price, and I’d still recommend it, especially if you’re already familiar with dialing in retraction and purge settings.
