Love this product but spray bottle works poorly
I have used Sucker Punch for 3 years and it works great! The first year I got the brush on type but it t was somewhat messy to use. Last year I ordered the spray bottle and it only sprayed a single stream on the sprout, making it very hard to hit my target. Even though the nozzle displayed wider spray options, it still only came out in a single stream. I figured it must have been a malfunction in the nozzle, so ordered it again for 2022. Same type spray bottle, same result therefore you have to use a lot more than you would normally. This product is way too expensive to have to use in this matter. PLEASE FIX THE NOZZLE! Thanks!

Needs a better sprayer.
The product works well. The sprayer does not. It comes out as a skinny stream, no matter which setting I use.

Multiple suckers on old crape myrtles
Updated 2023: Bought it again because I was tired of cutting suckers multiple times. Not only did it work, it is easier to use because it was easier to spray. And, it works! Needed for suckers on 26-year-old crape myrtles at our new home. Purchased another company’s product (M) last year, which took care of suckers, but was so thick that I had to paint it on. This one doesn’t really spray, but it at least is a bit thinner and I don’t need to brush it on. Appears to take longer to work, though. Still have one and added a bit of water to what was left because “liquid” is way too thick to spray. And bending down to keep brushing suckers is out of the question. I hate this product as well as the other company’s sucker product.

get a better spray bottle!!!!
great product, works well, I’d give it 5 stars if it would spray rather than a stream, where I waste a TON of it because you can’t aim correctly!!!

Save Your Money
This product did not work on suckers from a Sequoia redwood, and the bottle itself was also poorly designed. I cut the first batch of suckers and immediately used the product, carefully adjusting the nozzle between the spray/mist and stream settings. Unfortunately, neither setting functioned properly. Instead of producing a usable spray pattern, the bottle released an uneven, dysfunctional stream that wasted a significant amount of product while providing very little direct coverage. Even with the application issues, enough product made contact with the suckers so I expected to see at least some results. However, after several days and then weeks, there was absolutely no visible effect. The suckers continued as if nothing had been applied. I followed the application process carefully and gave the product adequate time to work. Based on my experience, the product simply failed to perform as advertised. Between the ineffective formula and the defective bottle design, this ended up being a complete waste of both time and money.

Outstanding product! Ignore the bad reviews.
Folks, listen. The bad reviews here are centered on the spray bottle, not the effectiveness of the product. This stuff is AMAZING! I have a group of very aggressively growing Aspen trees in my backyard and front yard. Over the years the shoots have spread to the point of driving me insane. They’re all within my lawn and throughout other areas of my landscaping. I found this product and was super skeptical, but also desperate because I was growing tired of picking the shoots. It was digging into my free time each week and significantly increasing the amount of time and effort needed to maintain my yard and lawns. I purchased two bottles of this stuff that used the applicator brush. It took me a while to apply the product to every shoot, but it was a simple process. The best part was I learned that this product did not harm my lawn nor harm the tree. I have plenty left over for future applications too. Anyway, this stuff worked like a miracle! The only shoots that grew so far were ones I initially missed. It’s been raining a ton, but the shoots have not come back. My understanding is this isn’t a permanent thing, but applying this every once in a while is light years better for my lawns, my yards, and my back. 10 stars!
