The Beaker Creatures series is a toy my 2-year-old absolutely loves. Whenever I bring out an egg, he excitedly exclaims "Beaker Creatures!" It’s especially great for bath time play. While the fizzing effect isn’t as explosive as I had initially expected, adding a bit of citric acid powder creates more bubbles, which makes it extra fun. The included carabiner is also super handy—we use it to store the Beaker Creatures and carry them wherever we want. We loved it so much after the first purchase that we ended up ordering more!

Love Beaker Creatures!
My son LOVES Beaker Creatures! (He’s 4, and my 2 year old love them too) The pods are pretty pricey, but I get them when the go on sale. FYI: Definitely need a towel under the toy to catch overflow!

Fun but, many duplicates!
First, these are big fun. Out of 6, 3 were the same. i was really hoping for more variety. A disappointment but, those “collectibles” are only fun for about 15 minutes anyway so, not a big loss.

Awesome when the pods actually worked.
Grandsons loved this item. When the pods worked, it was a lot of fun to watch. Unfortunately only about half of the pods did what they were supposed to do, which is why I gave it a three star rating. I put a tray underneath the skull to catch the overflow so cleanup was a breeze. They are now using the skull as a bath toy and we put a bath bomb (instead of pod) in the top.

Fun to make
I like that it has several different recipes to try. Very easy to make new reactor pods, which I think work better than the one that came with the volcano. My son enjoys helping make new pods for his volcano

Are these worth the money? Not really. UNLESS you have a kid like mine who loves these little monsters and plays with them continually and loves doing the little science experiment ideas it suggests with each box.

They don't work not sure what different but no fizz

We have purchased different series of these, and they have been brilliant. This latest series has really bright eggs leaving really bright coloured water. The creatures inside are limited for this series, so haven't felt inclined to buy any more after the first pack, as they are expensive for what they are. The eggs are not as fizzy as series 1 and 2 have been either. Otherwise, a great toy!

My son loves these and they worked great. Only disappointing bit was they were all the same colour. Was expecting a mix. If anyone has any doubles sell them please lol we need a set
