Quality tool
The wire itself is a good gauge and achieves a pretty good balance between flexibility and rigidity but it's only really of practical use in fairly straight runs. You'll struggle to get this to go round more than one or two significant bends or corners. That said it's extremely useful in situations you need to be a bit persuasive to get the fish tape through

Great for feeding cables on loft and tiht spaces
Very heavy larger than expected reel, this is the 240ft version and perfect for large cable laying and getting the new aerial install in the loft without needing to use ladders on both sides of the house to fix it. Has indicators every ft of the length you have, with a hook on the end to attach cables or whatever else you need, i suppose this could be handy for retrieving your keys if you drop them in a drain, a bit of a cliché i know lol. Quite heavy, has a really easy to reel in drum, i think is bearing centred, and a easy to hold handle.

Makes wiring through conduit so easy
I used this to pull ethernet cables through our conduit from downstairs to our back bedroom, there is a couple of moderate bends and this made it so easy to do, easy to hold and easy to spool it up I didn't have a single problem and it made a hard job very easy, all in all, I'm very happy with this wire puller and recommend it to others.

Good quality and robust wire puller -- recommended!
I got this for my engineer brother who says he has and will use it both at home and work for running wires. When it arrived I could hardly lift the box it arrived in -- it is a heavy and robust piece of electrical kit. We received the 1/8 inch x 240 feet, which my brother thinks will pretty much be suitable for any home or work project he needs it for. The cable has a double-loop tip and is graduated, which my brother says is a good feature as you then know how much of the cable you have fed through and also how much wire you will need, and is obviously ideal for long runs and large wire pulls. The version we received is made from stainless steel so is corrosion resistant and likely to last a long time, which is good as the price point of this product is quite steep at £104.08 at time of review. My brother particularly likes the multi-positional handle which allows for a comfortable, firm and secure grip when pulling or rewinding the cable. At this price this product is a considered purchase but my brother feels that it is worth it for the quality and usefulness of the product. He is happy to recommend.

Heavy duty, long tape for commercial/industrial use
The high impact polypropylene casing and handle make this a rugged and hardwearing tool and the 240ft/73meters of stainless steel (3.175mm wide) inside gives is some weight adding to the heavy duty feel. The design of the handle and central circle make feeding it out and pulling it back in simple and smooth and the hook on the end makes attaching cables easy. The tape itself is made of stainless steel so should last for a very long time, the thickness of the steel is just right to allow some flexibility while still being tough enough to not kink and there’s useful laser etched markings every foot, id have preferred metric markings but easy enough to convert if needed. Overall happy, The product feels well made and will be ideal for doing long conduit runs, a slight improvement could be made by adding a lock as it does tend to uncoil itself slightly unintentionally when handling sometimes, but not a big issue really.

Well made tool.
My first impressions on this fish tape/wire puller from Klein tools is that it is plastic and large, not to mention heavy. But as I slowly got to grips with it I realised how well made it is. The plastic casing is tough and rugged thus protecting the rigid 1/8-Inch (3.175mm) stainless steel cable which has a total length of 240ft (73m). The stainless steel cable is also laser etched with markings placed at every foot to remind you how much of the cable is remaining. As the cable is stainless steel, it is weather resistant also. This wire puller is aimed at the commercial side of construction and it shows with the quality of the build, I’ve only used it once to pull an electrical cable through some conduit from the house to the garden shed to power the light switches and this wire puller made the job easy and simple. For domestic jobs, this wire puller is probably overkill but as a piece of tool, it is well made and reliable. My only qualm is that all the measurements are in the imperial system and not the metric system. Annoying but not a deal-breaker.

The push and pull...
Well-made and featured cable puller from Klein Tools that's long enough to cope with major runs. The wire itself is a good gauge and achieves a pretty good balance between flexibility and rigidity but it's only really of practical use in fairly straight runs. You'll struggle to get this to go round more than one or two significant bends or corners. That said it's extremely useful in situations you need to be a bit persuasive to get the fish tape through, there's enough rigidity to stop it curling up or getting easily diverted on its way. Note that it's a slightly flat wire, not a round one, and so it's more flexible in one direction than the other, as you'd expect. The lead end has a loop already formed for you to hook your cable around before taping it in place and it's reasonably small and doesn't present too much of an obstacle. My only reservation is that the current offer here on Amazon UK is actually supplied by Amazon USA and, if you read the small print, any extra guarantee offered by the manufacturer is not valid in the UK, although presumably Amazon UK will offer the mandatory UK guarantee. If you're just looking to do some basic rewiring around your home this version of Klein Tool's fish tapes is probably overkill, unless you're feeding cables out into a garden outbuilding perhaps. Otherwise is a really decent and solidly made tool at a reasonable price.

Excellent quality fish tape. Bought for occasional DIY use. Used to push pull rope through 3/4" poly pipe conduit. The ethernet cable alone or the vacuum method would not work but this did the trick. I expect this to last a lifetime since it is well built.

Using a stainless-steel fish tape is light years better than a steel tape. Invariably conduits have water in them and that causes the steel tapes to rust very quickly.
