Heavenly spruce is more floral than spicy

I learned about Lampe Berger several years ago in a tobacco shop. The night before they hosted a cigar party and there was no trace of smoke in the air. The owner of the shop was burning lampe beger and I was sold. My favorite scent is Amber Powder but Heavenly Spruce may become my number one.. In general I like woodsy aromas. Lovely aroma during the holidays not too piney so it can be used year round. Will order scent again.

Seriously, I am still undecided about this scent. It has a strong rubbing alcohol aroma with some pine scent! I haven't burned it yet to know it will be any better. Actually, I am afraid to, as it will not be most pleasant. But time will tell. I hope to leave an addendum to this review, once I burn it. Not sure how to go about doing that, though. Would I buy it again...probably not! So I cannot recommend this to others!

The smell brings you back to a Christmas farm. Clean, bright, fresh. Love it

This stuff does not burn worth a darn. I went through many inches of wick trying to get some smell out of this oil. Did not work well. I gave up when the lamp was about half empty and the wick was getting low. Replaced the wick and topped off the lamp with regular lamp oil. About 50/50. Now I have a good burning lamp that smells great. Will order more of this now that I know to mix it with regular oil to get it to burn well and smell great.

Great scent, but doesn’t last long. I fill the resovior halfway and that only last a couple hours. It’s also pricey. But the scent is immediate. Best to use on a limited basis.

It barely smells; it's as if it has been diluted. And, for what little it does smell, it doesn't smell like spruce or like anything from the "pine family." The faint smell is not bad, but it is so light and is not "green" or evergreen or pine-scented or spruce-scented.

I was in search of a scent that would approximate the scent of fresh cut evergreens… something like freshly sawn spruce. This ain’t it. Too heavy, too sweet… simply not what the moniker ‘heavenly spruce’ suggests. I’ll burn through my 500 ml of it and not replenish it. If you’re also after the evergreen scent I was searching for, I suggest Maison Berger ‘festive fir,’ which comes a lot closer to the target… with the aroma of evergreens and a rosemary note.

Can be a bit strong in smaller rooms but if you dilute it with the neutral scent it's good.
