Godefroy Eyebrow Color Lightening Crème Single Use Application Kit

This is a first-time use review from a skeptic after reading current bad reviews.What is commonly mentioned: Yes, the package is tiny and there's not much in there. But it's for eye brows, so how much do you need? I have thick, coarse, dark brown-black eye brows, I applied it generously and still had some leftover. So, I don't know why the package size would be a problem.After reading that it doesn't really work for a lot within the suggested time frames, I let it sit for 5-7 minutes. Then I wiped it off and my eye brows already turned light brown. I feel like it might be somewhat brassy ... but: a) I'll fill in my eye brows with some pencil anyway, so at least now I can darken it or get it to a desired shade while before they were just too dark.b) I have medium reddish blonde hair and if it's slightly brassy, it actually matches my hair color even better. Haha.I thought it was easy to use, superquick process and the instant result looks good to me. Might be a little overpriced, but oh well ... I'm not the type to spend money at salons and spas and brow places and all, so that's alright.If it doesn't last as long as promised or an issue arises, I'll update this review. So far, I'm happy. And I'm hard to convince when it comes to beauty products. Haha.

Waste of money. I have dark brown to black brows. And it did nothing for them. Did not lighten them up one bit! It did not work for me. the picture is after I left the cream on for 5 whole minutes! When the instructions said don't go past 4 minutes because it will turn to "brassy". Welp. It did nothing!

Exactly what I needed! It lightened a few shades so I could match my hair better. Burned a bit when I put on but no bad reaction. It says only a 1-2 minutes but I did in total about six minutes. I took it off after four because I got scared and wanted to check it but then had enough to put more on and did another 2 and it was perfect.

Love this product so much!I read a previous reviewer who left it on longer to match her red hair color. My color has more gold so I only increased my developing time to 6 minutesAs you can see in photo, my skin is so sensitive I turn red smiling, no reaction at all! It was easy to use and worked seamlessly.I used a facial cleanser that does not leave a residue and make sure that area is 100% dry.I also some vaseline as a barrier, wipe excess off then recleansed and toned area.It looks natural my eyebrow color is 5g. I was not blessed with thick eyebrows so having this darker line look more light and soft was just what I wanted.

I was completely surprised by how well this change my eyebrow color. I have a dark blonde eyebrow colour and I wanted it to be a little bit lighter and it definitely did that. Although I would not listen to the directions I would definitely keep the product on for about 15 minutes depending on the colour you want.

It didn’t work as well as I would have liked. I have black eyebrows so I left it on for 4 minutes (the maximum processing time listed on the instructions.) My result was a little patchy, with some hairs lightening quite a lot and others barely lightening at all. The overall result is acceptable I guess, but I’m not wowed by this product.

Did not work at all. I bought two packets, followed the directions to the T, watched a YouTube video of the product, and it simply did not work. I smelt the bleachy/chemical smell similar to when I get my hair highlighted, and it did irritate the skin, so it was definitely lightening it. Because of this, I chose not to leave it on more than 4 minutes post to application. Even if my brows fell under the “black” category instead of “dark brown” (doubt it… see photo) 4 minutes should have been plenty of time. For the amount of irritation, I thought it was lightening my brows at least. Will not repurchase.

At first I left it on for 3 minutes each and when I washed it off, it looked like nothing had happened. I was convinced it wasn't going to work but tried leaving it on for another 10 ish minutes and suddenly my eyebrows were light brown. My natural eyebrows are somewhat sparse as I have thin hair, but they are naturally dark brown, almost black looking, and now they are light brown which matches my current dyed hair colour. This product works really well, I just had to leave it on a little longer. It's very gentle so shouldn't irritate your skin. Very good product! Thought it wasn't working but in the end it worked really well.

It did nothing! A waste of money. I tried to use this to lighten my black eyebrows. At first I kept it on for 3 minutes, saw no results, and reapplied for another 2. Still nothing. I even applied what was left again for another few minutes but it did not work at all. Perhaps if you have lighter eyebrow hair it may work for you but this did nothing for black hair. The applicator also wasn’t helpful enough to get the product onto my eyebrows. Don’t know why I bought this.
