I use Makari face and body cream with no issues so I bought the sunscreen thinking it would be safe. It wasn't. It leaves a white cast #1 after day 2 I noticed my face breaking out already. Super sad.

I've been using this Makari UV Clear Facial Sunscreen SPF 46 for a few days, and I do enjoy using it. It's a fairly watery sunscreen, and just to make this obvious, it's not actually a clear product, but a milky shade of white. It feels like a mineral sunscreen, and it doesn't interfere with my makeup or any of my other products. It's a natural product with no chemicals or bleach. While it goes on white, it quickly melts into my skin, and the color fades. I prefer a slightly higher SPF value, but SPF 46 makes me feel very comfortable. The sunscreen doesn't just sit on my sin; it moisturizes and makes my complexion feel hydrated. Highly recommended.

This is Makari's UV clear sunscreen, but FYI it is a light runny cream type sunscreen, it is not clear at all. r My biggest problem is that it has a super heavy fragrance scent and it was very overwhelming... it was so bad that it made my asthma flare up within moments of putting it on. Also it irritated my skin, making it burn. I ended up having to wash it off almost immediately.

This sunscreen has a very thin texture and is easy to apply, but unfortunately it doesn't wear well in hot climate and runs down easy. I put it on my face and went exercising, and I had terrible eye burns since as soon as I started to sweat it dripped into my eyes. It also has a very strong unpleasant (to me) scent. I will use up this bottle as body sunscreen but will not re-order it again for my face.

The feel: This is a standard Korean sunscreen with high spf, but very quick to put on and dry. It does not have that extra thick filmy feeling that US sunscreens have. You do have to watch the eye area though. The coverage. very easy. Make sure to get your ears. definitely protects me from the intense florida sun. Packaging: Great packaging. THe pump is really easy to use. I like it for home vs travel though. Perfer some of the smaller thinner packaging. That said, this is not big. Just more for sturdy functionality. The smell: It's a very light very unnoticeable smell. I like it, but I know some people want zero or completely unnoticeable. This may or may not be your deal depending. The smell is more pleasant lotion than your US brand sunscreen oriented weird type smell.

This sunscreen doesn't leave a white cast on my face like other sunscreens, but it leaves a bit of a sheen. To minimize this effect, use less. I like the fact that it comes in a pump, though this type of device tends to clog over time. But so far, so good. The SPF is an odd 46 (most are rounded up numbers, like 30, 45 or 50, so the in-between number is kind of weird) but it works well in hot weather and doesn't sting my eyes. Overall it's good - just use it sparingly to avoid the "shiny" effect.
