Just received it today. So far so good. As far as longevity let’s see how long it lasts. Won’t use it till next Christmas but it looks so good! Love it!

This product takes me back in time to the ride at the local fairs, and the now defunct Bob-Lo Island! Highly detailed and realistic! Perfect for any Lionel a Christmas Village, or carnival display!

Totally Dead After 45 Minutes
Was looking forward to adding this, my fourth Lemax carnival ride, to my collection for a holiday display. I tested it the day delivered and all worked great. A few months later, when I set up the whole carnival display for a family holiday visit (actually just last week), it worked great for about 45 minutes then died. I checked the on-off switch, swapped out the 4.5 volt adaptors with ones working on other Lemax rides in the series, and nothing; totally dead. Since it worked when I first got it, there was no reason for a return. Now the limited warranty has expired. Although this purchase was a dud for me, I've had great success with the Lemax roundup, bumper cars, and junior flight.
