Works as promised, holding up well.
I purchased these after a long search for quality Bluetooth earbuds to use during a variety of activities (gym, running, hiking, biking, lawn work, etc.). The prospect of being able to leave my phone at home (or at least conserve its battery) seemed worth the extra expense, and after using them regularly for almost a year, I'm very glad I got them. Initial Setup This is pretty easy: unpack, plug into the dedicated cradle (lining up the contacts), and plug it into your computer to transfer media. My Windows 7 machine recognized it as a storage device, and even though the manual tells you to install some sort of transfer utility, I was able to click and drag my MP3s without any additional drivers/steps. Functionality It's a little different not being able to see track names and other information, and the minimalist design means you'll have to take it off and maybe squint a little to find the appropriate button until you memorize them. Early on, I pressed Next/Previous Track when I meant to adjust the volume, but after I got used to it, I have no major complaints. Comfort I assume this varies quite a bit depending on your ears/preferences. Based on previous buds, I have medium-sized ear canals, so the covers that came on the device are comfortable. If I'm sweating especially heavily during a workout, I might wipe them with my shirt, but most of the time, I forget they're there. The cable that joins the two buds hangs on the back of your head, but comes with a flexible band that takes up the slack and keeps it from moving around. Since the device is standalone, there are no wires to get in the way of your movement and no heavy/expensive device to keep in your pocket or strapped to you somewhere. Battery Life Mine seems to last anywhere from 5-7 hours, though I do a variety of activities, so my guesses might be a little off. Regardless, I have never considered the battery life span short enough to be problematic/frustrating, and the LED shows the battery state (green, amber, red) at startup and shutdown. Charging time seems to be about an hour. Sound Quality I listen almost exclusively to old Loveline episodes recorded off OTA radio, so they're not exactly Vivaldi. That said, I will say I can easily tell the difference between the higher quality encodes (64kbps) and the lower quality ones (32kbps). Build Quality/Durability About the only thing I haven't done with these things is swim. In the last year, they've survived 100+ gym trips, extended lawn care sessions, probably 200+ miles of running/hiking, some kayaking, and even long afternoons of house cleaning. I haven't noticed any degradation of the casing, buds, or wire. The only maintenance I do is wiping off the contacts when I charge it. Long Track Reset If you listen to podcasts or other long-form programming, be aware that every time you plug this into a computer to charge it or transfer files, it will start you back at the beginning of the current track. This is doubly annoying since there is no fast forward functionality. However, I've found that if I use a USB/AC adapter to charge (almost every smartphone comes with one nowadays), the track does not get reset. Transferring files still means a reset, but considering 4GB of Loveline episodes means about 117 hours of media, that's pretty rare for me. Summary I highly recommend these to anyone who is looking for basic audio playback during intense activity, especially if you want to leave your expensive phone/media player at home. Yeah, they're significantly more expensive than Bluetooth buds, but there are no sync/communication issues and you never have to worry about getting caught in the rain while running/biking/hiking. I personally consider it a blessing that I have one more excuse to leave my phone at home or in the car.

Good product
This actually worked really well. The buttons are difficult to press if you don't have good finger dexterity but they made swimming a lot more fun being able to listen to music or a book while exercising.

Reliable and Simple
These headphones are fantastic! With the normal earbuds, the sound is crystal clear and perfect quality. With the swimming earbuds, the sound is a bit muffled, but even the instructions say this, so the company is honest which goes to their favor. When putting the headphones on for the first time, it took me a few tries. After about fifteen minutes, I finally made them fit. I have a large head and the headphones fit well, which I was happy about because others in the past have been too small. For those with a smaller head, the product comes with an adjusting band that can be used to tighten the wire. The charger cradle holds the headphones firmly. As for appearance, the headphones do not look out of the ordinary. I bought the black colored ones and with my dark brown hair, the cord is not visible. The product works well underwater. The water does not affect the sound. When I first tried the product underwater, I was very worried that they would break, but! they did not. And still work well. Just make sure that you dry the headphones after use by shaking the water our like the video (link in the instructions) say or use a towel to remove and excess water from the product. I do both to be safe. Connecting to your computer to transfer music is simple. Click and drag. Follow the instructions in the packaging. Basically, read the instructions and this product will work no problem! I absolutely love these headphones and I use them for doing laps in the pool, they don't fall off! (

joggers beware!
I just opened this today, so this will be a very preliminary review. I have not tried it in the pool, for instance. When I first opened it, I was very pleasantly surprised based on the reviews I've read here. The sound was good (volume and quality)... not top of the line good, but not a downgrade from any other mp3 player I've had. It didn't hurt as some have pointed out, either. plugged it into the computer (slightly annoyed that it's not a standard micro USB cable, but oh well... do wish it at least stood up though instead of making the player rest on the earbuds) and dragged my songs into the music folder. Didn't even have to install anything and everything worked fine. Windows recognized it, opened as a data drive, boom. [edit: I did get it to show up in my Musicbee; just had to turn on the 'detect MTP' option ^_^] I let it charge to 100% and I'm off to the gym, enjoying not having wires dangling from my ears. It sounds good, I can't hear the gym music over it, and it gives me no indication that I should worry about it falling off. I got the hang of the buttons quite quickly (i got this to replace my samsung muse... its main problem being the capacitive buttons going to sleep so as not to accidentally do something, which required a whole ritual to jump songs). Each has a rocker (volume or track jump) and a button (play/pause or shuffle) on the bottom, with one side also having the power and hold buttons on the front edge. once you know what's on what side, you're good to go ^_^. So why 3 stars? All was fine until I started jogging on the treadmill. Every step echoed in my ears... I could still hear the music, but with at definite 'tsh, tsh, tsh' noise. Even hard steps made it do that to a far lesser extent, but I can't imagine anyone enjoying jogging while wearing this. Then again, like I said it was my first time with this thing... so maybe there's some trick to it? If anyone is aware of one, PLEASE let me know... and I will be sure to put something here if I ever figure it out myself (i'm also going to post it as a question). TL;DR version Pros; good sound/volume (at least above water) real buttons!!! feels snug and secure no wires dangling anywhere easy drag+drop song files, or lets me pull playlists cons; impacts echo in ears proprietary cradle

Premium Red
