Review: Consistent high-quality product - This is, without a doubt, is a wonderful addition to my world of watercolor! It has a thick rich consistency and is easily thinned with water. It is opaque out of the bottle and stays a bright white even when dry. When thinned it can used to produce the effect of smoke, clouds, mist, etc. I also wanted to say a big "Thank You!" to Dr. Ph. Martin for the packing of this product. It is such a disappointment when you order art supplies online only to receive them damaged--bent bristles, a pad of paper with a damaged corner, etc. The care in packaging for this glass jar was stellar--great product that came ready to use!
Review: So Many Uses! Use to Create Gauche-like Creamy Opaque Colors, Highlights, Stars and Moons, Snow… - One pot of this bleed proof white lasts a really long time and it is perfectly opaque. I use mine in almost every watercolor painting I do. My favorite uses are highlights, water ripples, stars and moons, and snow. If you use this sparingly on a painting for even just some highlights, it does wonders in making the painting really pop. Another good use is to mix it with a watercolor paint to create a light colored opaque gauche-like color as well. If I need to paint over something darker in a lighter color, I do this a lot with this bleed proof white. It turns into a creamy matte opaque version of any color, and it sits perfectly on top. Highly recommend this paint!

This is a great product! I use it on my watercolor paintings where I just need an opaque white. It works well for creating snow and other white spatters on your paintings as well as covering things up that didn't go quite as planned. I highly recommend this brand of opaque White!
