Very readable
I really enjoyed this book. I cannot claim to have read every word as it's not that kind of book - but what I have read I have thoroughly enjoyed. I'm not sure I would say it has the most apt title since a lot of the book concerns itself with the history of recorders in the early music world, but I knew that when I bought it and it was indeed one of the reasons I bought it.All in all, a good read.
