I’ve glued a full set of thin soles onto my native made moccasins, and they haven’t peeled even after years of heavy use. I use it to tack seams together when I make my bikepacking bags, as some seams are really hard to muscle under the sewing machine and keep the fabric aligned. Makes for very strong seams. This is the glue cobblers use to glue the layers of your soles together. Good stuff and strengthens with age. I’ve tried to pull apart two layers of heavy cordura that were glued together for years. The glued seam didn’t rip, the cordura did, and it took a tremendous amount of force.
