It works the same as the pink colored calamine. It does not stain and has a thicker consistency than the pink stuff. And it does have Parabens. Other wise it would get the five star rating.

I am using it a little off from recommendation, I use it to protect the the skin where I am going to attach the pump (or pod) I use it under the pod to protect the skin because I get blisters from the adhesive. sometimes. It makes it come off easier. Try it!
