Fluid2 Indoor Bike Trainer, Smart Equipped Option, Fits Road and Mountain Bikes, Compatible with Zwift App

The Fluid 2 was simple to assemble and after I mounted my road bike on it a couple of times, that became easy as well. This trainer is very sturdy and well built. As advertised, it is quiet I live in a condominium and I use the trainer on an open loft above the living room with not noise issues. The trainer comes with sensors for speed and cadence, but I use the Bontrager sensors I had installed on myTrek bike for my Cateye Stealth 50 computer. The Bontrager sensors work fine with the Rouvy software I am using. The Fluid 2 Smart trainer does not have all capabilities that more expensive trainers come equipped with, but I do not intend to compete with others on line so this was the right trainer for me. The Fluid 2 produces plenty of resistance to achieve an excellent work out.

With hot or rainy weather (and later this year, cold and snowy) often derailing my biking routine, I'm so pleased to now have another way to cycle. Although the fit of one of the parts was so tight I had to use a mallet to hammer it in (after watching several videos to make sure I was doing it correctly), the assembly wasn't too difficult. I highly recommend watching a video side by side with assembly. The whirring noise isn't too bad - you get used to it. I would recommend a higher front wheel stand than the cheapest one (which I got, and now have resting on some additional things). You definitely need to raise your front wheel more, or you'll end up with sore arms/wrists. Worth every penny to now be able to cycle indoors while listening to podcasts and audiobooks!

I have over 800 miles on this unit and no issues. No leaks as some have indicated of fluid trainers, the speed/cadence works great and connects to the Edge app with no issues via Bluetooth. I ride it every day since having it and the trainer is smooth and not loud. Sturdy and works perfect, very happy with the purchase and the quality of the unit.

Speed/cadence sensor parts missing. I have the battery, the bands and that’s it. Trainer is sturdy. Not noisy. No concerns with assembly. But missing the sensor. Pending response from seller.

I sent this back. It wouldn’t fit together without a mallet. The craftsmanship was incredibly poor. Even the welds were all globby and messy—nothing aligned well! I bought a different brand, and the difference was astonishing. It’s sad, I was so excited to get this set up. My husband, who is an engineer, tried to get it together, and gave up, too. His comment was that he’s sure the people who designed and engineered this must be annoyed at the workmanship of the final product. Too bad, but my recommendation is not to spend the money.

Setup was not easy because 2 different pieces were extremely difficult to fit. On the action bolt, I had to use a hammer, covering the end with a towel so as not to damage. The L bolt required force and a lubricant. But once set up, it works great and worth the effort. Feels great and love the workout. Let's see how much my outdoor riding improves.

I did quite a bit of research when considering an indoor trainer. While others had higher online ratings, the cost was higher than I wanted to pay. The trainer is sturdy, well constructed, and easy to use. While not silent, it has a soft "whirring" sound when used. I can watch TV without turning up the volume when I ride. Worth the cost, in my opinion.

Easy enough to put together but supposed to get two sensors: speed and cadence. Only got one. Same sensor for each.

I can’t really elaborate on the title - however you have to pay attention to correctly position the few parts that need assembling.

The Saris Fluid2 bike trainer is solidly built and of high quality, compared to my previous fan-type trainer is quite quiet. It assembled easily and hold the bike very securely. The smart speed/cadence device was not easy to fit to my rear wheel hub owing to tight access through my spokes. Once mounted, however, it paired very easily to Zwift through my iPad. The vendor shipped the trainer in less than a day after I ordered it and it was received on time with no concerns. A good transaction.

El producto llego en tiempo y bien sellado. Todo fue perfecto hasta tener que colocar el pomo de embrague básico, con el perno en L, la tuerca no era la adecuada para ese perno, era mucho mas grande que la tuerca que envian, por lo tanto al intentar enroscarla no quedaba y el perno se daño barriendose de la parte de arriba, se tuvo que cortar ese perno y conseguir la tuerca adecuada para utilizarlo. La refacción la venden en casi 607 pesos, conseguí las refacciones en menos de 60 pesos.
