Your Dual-Zone Environmental Guardian
Upon unboxing, the main indoor unit feels lightweight and sleek, with a clean design that blends well into any room. The touchscreen LCD is clear and easy to read. The wireless outdoor sensor is compact and appears durable enough for outdoor placement. Setup was remarkably straightforward: insert batteries (included, a nice touch), place the sensor, and the units paired almost instantly. Pros: Accurate Temperature & Humidity Readings: The VIVOSUN consistently provided accurate readings for both indoor and outdoor temperatures, as well as indoor humidity. I cross-referenced it with other calibrated devices, and its readings were consistently within a very acceptable margin of error. This reliability is crucial for effective monitoring. Clear Touchscreen LCD with Backlight: The 3.3-inch LCD display is large and very easy to read at a glance. The touchscreen functionality makes it simple to switch between units (C/F), clear min/max records, and activate the bright blue backlight. The backlight is particularly useful for checking readings in low-light conditions. Excellent Wireless Range (200ft/60m): The 200ft/60m range proved robust in my testing. I placed the outdoor sensor a significant distance from the indoor unit, through multiple walls, and the connection remained stable without dropouts. This allows for flexible placement of the outdoor sensor without worrying about signal loss. Min/Max Record Keeping: The device tracks and displays the minimum and maximum temperature and humidity readings for the past 24 hours (or since last reset). This historical data is incredibly useful for understanding environmental trends in your home or garden. Simple Setup & Operation: Pairing the sensor with the main unit was virtually automatic. The interface is intuitive, requiring minimal effort to get started and operate effectively. Versatile Placement: The main unit features both a tabletop stand and a magnetic back, allowing for flexible placement on a desk, shelf, or refrigerator. The outdoor sensor has a hanging hole and is splash-proof for outdoor use. Batteries Included: A small but welcome detail, the inclusion of AAA batteries for both units means it's ready to go right out of the box. Cons: No Outdoor Humidity Sensor: While it monitors indoor humidity, the outdoor sensor only provides temperature. For some users, especially those monitoring grow tents or specific outdoor conditions, an outdoor humidity reading would be a valuable addition. Outdoor Sensor Not Fully Waterproof (Splash Proof): While rated as splash-proof, it's not designed for full submersion or direct, prolonged exposure to heavy rain. Placement under an eave or in a sheltered spot is advisable for long-term durability. Backlight Timeout: The backlight is not continuously on, requiring a touch to activate, and it then times out. While this saves battery, some might prefer an always-on option (though this would drain batteries quickly). Overall Input & Verdict: The VIVOSUN Indoor Outdoor Thermometer and Wireless Digital Hygrometer is an excellent, reliable, and user-friendly device for monitoring environmental conditions. Its accurate readings, clear touchscreen display with backlight, and impressive wireless range make it a standout product in its category. While the lack of an outdoor humidity sensor and the outdoor unit's splash-proof (rather than fully waterproof) rating are minor considerations, they do not detract significantly from its core functionality. For anyone needing to easily track indoor comfort levels and outdoor temperatures – whether for home comfort, pet care, or basic garden monitoring – this VIVOSUN unit is a highly recommended and value-packed solution.

My favorite thermometer
Have bought a few of these because they are my favorite among the ones I've tried. Nice large numbers and large display, high contrast LCD. Pretty long battery life, even with rechargables. The sensor batteries especially last a long time (I use lithium so I don't need to change them much, lasts well longer than a year). Nice to see the humidity levels inside and outdoors. Up to three channels for multiple sensors. It can progress through each sensor, showing the value, then moving to the next. Or you can set each one to show just a single sensor, and flip through by touching the screen. Very functional touchscreen. Nice blue light when you want it. Seems like good accuracy. I keep one in the fridge too, and put a sensor down on the bottom shelf in the back. That gives me two temperature measurements so I can keep it good and cold but without freezing stuff in the back. I don't like the white color. It visually dims the display effect. So I put some black gaffer tape along the edges to make it completely black. I think it looks much better this way, and also gives it a nice grip texture. I think they should make them flat black not white. Great product, have had a few for several years, no failures. It's the only kind I use now.

Budget digital thermometer with standard terrible Chinglish instructions
After getting through the useless instructions, and finding answers elsewhere (Amazon Q&A), once it's all set up, this is a pretty decent device. I've only had it a few days, but it has the main functions I am after, in/out temp and humidity. The numbers are very large and easy to see on the display, and the entire display unit is touchscreen (was that somewhere in the description?) The backlight is easy to find, even in the dark, being in the lower left corner just tap there and it'll light up. Numbers seem to be fairly accurate, at least compared to other sensors I have. I'm pleased with the overall functionality of the unit, once getting past the horrible instructions. If you want to pair/sync all of the sensors, there is a channel selector inside each of the remote sensors. Nowhere in the instructions does it mention these switches. There's also a "TX" button, which I'm still not sure what it does, other than seem to unpair the sensors. Another non-mentioned function is the ability to have a continuous scroll through the 3 sensors, or just keep it on one channel. If you tap the channel button, it'll scroll through 1, 2, and 3, but when it goes back to one, a little "repeat" arrow icon appears. This will auto scroll through all 3 sensors if you want to keep an eye on all 3. Tap the channel button again to remove the repeat function. I'm sure there are other hidden features and instructions that are completely omitted from the instructions, but Google is your friend! Overall I think this is a pretty nice unit for the cost, pretty accurate, and easy to read. Just don't get stuck in the setup!

I was looking for a clean looking digital thermometer to monitor readings in different areas of our home and this was perfect! The display is very well laid out with the items you want but no gimmicky extras (I didn't need another clock or calendar). The remote sensors work great recording the temp and humidity and the upper display cycles through them at a perfect pace while the lower display always shows the reading from the main unit. I placed my remote sensors in my garage, crawlspace and outdoors and the unit picked the signals up immediately and reception so far has been flawless. Temp and Humidity readings seem to be very accurate. My wife even likes this device and she's normally not a big fan of stuff like this. This has met my needs perfectly and I'm extremely happy with this product.

Não vale a pena. Caro para o que entrega. O sensir externo não funciona corretamente. Para de funcionar com frequência. Dinheiro jogado fora.

Simple and works really well! I take it all over the house and the yard. Worth the extra bucks compared to a wired hygrometer
