Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Wireless Digital Hygrometer Temperature and Humidity Monitor with Touchscreen LCD Backlight, 200ft/60m Range, Battery Included

Have bought a few of these because they are my favorite among the ones I've tried. Nice large numbers and large display, high contrast LCD. Pretty long battery life, even with rechargables. The sensor batteries especially last a long time (I use lithium so I don't need to change them much, lasts well longer than a year). Nice to see the humidity levels inside and outdoors. Up to three channels for multiple sensors. It can progress through each sensor, showing the value, then moving to the next. Or you can set each one to show just a single sensor, and flip through by touching the screen. Very functional touchscreen. Nice blue light when you want it. Seems like good accuracy. I keep one in the fridge too, and put a sensor down on the bottom shelf in the back. That gives me two temperature measurements so I can keep it good and cold but without freezing stuff in the back. I don't like the white color. It visually dims the display effect. So I put some black gaffer tape along the edges to make it completely black. I think it looks much better this way, and also gives it a nice grip texture. I think they should make them flat black not white. Great product, have had a few for several years, no failures. It's the only kind I use now.

UPDATE...I came to order another Vivosun thermometer (this time with multiple sensors) and thought I'd update the review. Everything from the original review still applies and after 3.5 years and the product is still recommended... - It is more accurate than its specs state. For the unit I received, the temperature is accurate to within 0.5°F (as measured against a very accurate and calibrated thermometer). The indoor hygrometer syncs very closely with my dehumidifier's humidistat reading as well. - It is higher quality than another similar brand (which quit after only a few months). This Vivosun is still working perfectly. - It is expandable (up to 3 sensors). If you don't want to have 3 screens to read 3 areas, that's OK. Just buy another sensor or two and add them to your current unit. Set up is quick & easy. - No need to install any app. This uses local wireless RF (not 802.11 networking) -ONLY bone of contention I have is that the screen-unit needs larger (or more) batteries. It takes 2 AAA (same as the sensors) but with an always-on, sometimes-lighted screen, it really needs either 4 AAA or 2 AA so they don't need to be replaced so often (about every 3 months) (the sensors are fine with 2 AAA) Extra Note: - If you have multiple sensors, you can set the display to show 1 sensor all the time (and then manually tap to see the others) OR you can set the display to cycle continuously through all the sensors at 5 second intervals. This is not listed in the instructions, but is a welcome feature. ORIGINAL REVIEW from 3 1/2 years ago: Been a couple of months now... Wanted to see how it was before writing a review. In short, it's pretty good. I can't really find anything that should knock off a star. The display is large enough to read from about 10 feet (3 meters). A lower-left screen-tap turns on the back-light for a few seconds. The outdoor sensor reads accurately and the humidity sensor seems to work well enough too. No wires is nice, and so far, the battery does not show any signs of wearing down yet. So overall, I'd recommend it and so far, I'd buy it again.

Wouldn’t work properly initially. Discovered batteries in remote sensor unit very weak.Batteries in receiver only at half charged. Replaced all batteries and now working perfectly. Nic little unit, excellent price. Batteries probably sat on shelf for awhile. Decent unit with button to log hip screen. I am happy with it.

UPDATE: After using this for a few months we noticed the outdoor indicator was running through the batteries pretty quick, or so we thought. I investigated and found that when the weather became very cold overnight the outside unit would switch channels for some reason causing the inside unit not to display the temp. Be sure to re-sync the unit trying a different channel before replacing batteries as it just may be a channel loss. Save yourself some money and frustrations. That being said I still love this unit. Pros: Easy to set up Large readable displays Works in all weather Has a back light button for a quick night reading (stays on only a few seconds) Cons: Humidity reading almost as big as temp reading Wish it came in black If you're just looking for a good indoor outdoor temp display for your home this is a great investment. I'm a senior and set up was very easy has been working for over 6 months without any lag in several different types of weather. Outdoor sensor can be placed on the house or hung further away from more accurate reading. Worth the investment.

Update: Well, I got the replacement and it lasted less than a week before the same year she became evident. That being outside temperature does not register. I didn’t return it because it wasn’t that expensive but I would advise others to stay away. I owned this for four and a half years with no problem so I decided to opt for function vs. the flash of higher priced color screens, although they did lure me in for a while. Anyway, I ordered the same model this time function failed me. Unfortunately the sensor simply mirrored the inside temp within a degree no matter what the outside temperature said. I tried resetting it: no luck. Then when the temperature dropped to 40 degrees last night. the sensor said 88 degrees. I've exchanged this for another model because, well originally it did work flawlessly for almost five years. Will update this if new model is a success and give another star.

I keep replacing them every couple years, but they work great until they break🤣

Very happy with this purchase. Used it all spring to monitor conditions inside our greenhouse. Handy sensor just hangs from the roof inside (attached twine to it) and the display is inside on the kitchen counter. Very accurate, easy to read and good info at a glance. Very happy with this purchase.

I put it in my detached garage to track its internal temperature so I know when to turn off the dehumidifier. Works gereat, not sure about the battery life as the original batteries just ran out and they may have been on a shelf for a few years.
