Q: Can these be used on glass?

No, they are not able to use on glass surface unless you may cut the shanks and use glue to stick them on glass

Q: how big is the diameter of the head ? is 7/16 the diameter of head wouldnt these be very small? can someone post a pic of these on furniture

Yes they are small--I was looking for nails the size of dimes. I would say they are about the size of a large English pea, perhaps a wee bigger. I will say they were delivered promptly as promised.I found the size I wanted was 3/4 inch.
