SVS PC-2000 Pro 12" Ported Cylinder Subwoofer - Piano Gloss

This is great if you don't want a traditional 'big square box' type sub, but still want something that sounds awesome. It's so much easier to fit into a living (not dedicated HT) space than pretty much any other subwoofer. And it doubles as a small table (ours has a plant on it.) I have it running wireless, using an SVS sound path adapter (the tri-path whatever one) with no sync or issues with standby. The absolute best part is SVS customer service though. I bought this in 2022 from a seller here on Amazon. It was all good until about a month ago (January 2026). The sub started making a thumping sound when not even connected to anything. I was all set to purchase a new subwoofer, but a 10 minute call with SVS (a human answers the phone and actually discusses the issue with you - no hoops) ended with them shipping out a replacement amp that I received within a couple business days along with a tool (just a hex bit) and instructions on how to replace it. The sub is great, but SVS is the best.

Always wanted to own this subwoofer, heard it years ago at a friend's home, but had another brand, could not justify the purchase. But heard them again in another hi end system and had to have them. Bought them, still thoroughly impressed, these are among the best I've heard. I recommend them for keen listeners. You can adjust them to your personal musical taste.

I have always wanted this SW but stayed away from it due to its verical size. But after i have own it, I should have gotten it sooner. SW is perfect for what I need. It produce a strong and accurate bass that doesn't linger(Eric Clapton - My Father's Eyes). It's paired with KEF R3 Meta and I set sub at -10 dB. I have tried the sub at -0 dB and I can hear crack from SW box if I listen to track that has lots bass sound like Cello. The SW is sitting on the right of my computer desk and the bass doesn't sound like it come from that direction. I even tried to catch its direction when standing next to my Rear Surround speakers. I tested it with SACD and DSD tracks that are multi channel. The Bass still sound Omnidirectional; that's exactly what I want. TLDR; With the combination of 12 in speaker, 550 watt RMS PSU and box size, it can produce an accurate strong short bass. For livingroom, I would get a pair.

My first SVS subwoofer and Wow!!! My Previous best was a Sony SW5 and that is in my mind now “fisher price”. This PC-2000 shakes the floor, the house, your chest. If you’ve never experienced real LOW bass (LFE) you are in for a treat! First 1:27 of Toy Story 2 amazing. The new 2024 Twisters movie, OMFG what an INTENSE experience! Yes it cost some bucks but in this case you get what you pay for (wife approved). Now I’m thinking of adding a SB2000 or SB3000 to the mix 😁

Sounds good and worked fine for about 8 months. Then it would just not power on. Called support and they will mail me a amplifier and I have to change it myself. My JBL sub worked great for over 20 years. SVS also said they are not giving me a new amp but refurbished and that is their policy with repairs. For $1000 their warranty gets you used parts that you have to install yourself. Searching the internet you will find other people with SVS AMPs that die prematurely that fail too.

Did a lot of homework and decided this was the best sub for my location and budget. it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Doing a quick setup got the sub working and sounding okay. Several days later after running the Odyssey set up from my receiver and really tuning in the subwoofer to my room all I can say is that this sub is absolutely incredible. It blends perfectly with my Klipsch reference speakers and brings the low end to new depths. This is replacing an almost 20 year old Martin Logan sub which I thought was the best I'd ever heard. This sub replaces it beautifully at about half the price of the original.

Great sub especially if you need to conserve on floor space . Unfortunately it’s not double boxed, and Amazon was suppose to deliver with signature. It was dropped off Witt big hole in box. Luckily sub was not damaged

Excellent sub woofer. The speaker is very very good with low frequencies. The App provides great control and various filters. Do not search further. Just buy it.
