NLT Teen Life Application Study Bible, Compact Edition (Softcover)

I got this bible a couple of years ago as a gift in the pink version and I loved it so much I got this one for my little sister. Not only is the NLT version so easy to understand it also has so many real-life applications within it that make it worth its while. I'd say this is not only for teens but for young adults too; I still use mine to this day and it has held up remarkably.

I am not a teen, I'm in my 20s however I was feeling very hopeless amd lost in my life after ky Father's death so me and my mom both got Bibles. This was the onr I finally settled on. I hoped one aimed at a younger audience would help explain things a bit clearer to someone like me who's never studied before. It doesn't do the best job explaining the verses but it does do a great job contextualising life lessons into various life situations. I personally enjoy the "I wonder" and "My story" components built into the bibke because it answers relevant questions and gives real life examples that are very relatable. My obly criticism of this bible is that it doesn't use red letters for quotes of Jesus. Most bibles do that and for some reason this one doesn't. For teens, young adults, or people just starting out I highly recommend this bible.

My daughter loves this bible. She has asked for one for a while and we decided on this one because it is geared towards teens. It also has a lot of extra info such as at the beginning of each book it tells when it took place, where it took place and who and what the main focus is of that particular book. As I said she enjoys it.

Serves its purpose

My teen wanted a more appropriate bible with a study section in it. He seems to be very happy with it. Easy to ready & understand with the notes/ study section that goes along with each chapter.

The teen I bought this Bible for loves it. He says it is easy to understand and that he appreciates the extra features as being very helpful. I bought the imitation leather edition for him rather than the paperback. A paperback Bible is counter intuitive. As a big heavy book, the Bible cover on a paperback will deteriorate too quickly. Particularly if you are buying this as a gift, please spend the extra money and buy the edition with the more durable cover.

I bought 2 of these Bibles for my grandsons aged 10 and 14. I was surprised at the quality for the price. The cover is gorgeous with the word "LOVE" embroidered on it. The pages are high quality and the version is easy for them to understand in modern day language. I do prefer the KJV over all but sometimes it can be a little hard for kids to grasp. There are lessons, maps and applications throughout. Very pleased!!
