Review: Karsuite M9 - Ok, I had to come back and revise my first review. After figuring out how this dashcam works, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! The camera's picture quality is magnificent. I love how it constantly films AND makes it easy to go back and find what you need. In less than a week, it caught someone falling on a slippery surface coming out of a store. I told the stranger that I might have her incident on my camera. Load and behold, I did and the quality was great. I still believe the product's operational manual could be better, but once I figured out the main and important objectives, I fell in love. It also provide great view for your blind spots. I definitely judge this product to quickly. Even though, I don't think the manual is user friendly, I am still giving this product five stars. I am also going to leave my first review so everyone can see the COMPLETE u-turn I made after figuring this out. Great product. That back up camera is all that. I hate that my car won't allow me to hook it up to the rear light though. (Previous review) Although, it gives A1 picture quality, it operated like crap!!! It took everything in me not to snatch this item off my mirror and run over it in the street. It was hard to navigate through and the instructions given on how to use it proved to be awful and not complete. It stayed on camera mode. I could NEVER get it to go back to the mirror mode without turning it off. When I tried to disable it with the power button, it kept coming back on even when it was not plug to the adapter. This prove to be just a piece of junk, and a hazard to drive with. And I ordered two!!! So freaking disappointed. I will be returning this product for a full refund!!! Review: This dash cam exceeded my expectations - This dash cam exceeded my expectations. The mirror provides a wide view area and the video is so amazingly clear and sharp I was blown away. I put it in my work van and was worried the cable from the rear camera would not reach my dashboard. Surprisingly it did and had a foot to spare. All I wanted was a rear view, but the front view is cool.Iโm so glad to see an affordable piece of tech that is built with such high quality, right up there. Itโs cost-effective product. After driving around for a week or so, this camera definitely met and exceeded expectation. The camera is packed pretty nice. You get coordinates and speed if you install the GPS unit. It's great overall, I absolutely love the install and it can vary from vehicle to vehicle. The fact that I didn't drill a single hole is exactly what I want. I did some proximity check, and know the actual distance when I see it from my rear camera. Comparing this to a wireless, solar-powered backup camera only. This camera is a clear winner. Totally recommend this.

Starting at 4, Will Update
Update I gave this a 4 out of 5 and is stays there. After almost a month of use here's my opinion. While I have had issues with the rear camera stuttering, its only the display in full screen and lasts for just a few min. In split it looks fine and it records fine and it rarely happens. No issue for me. The company was VERY nice in responding. The unit itself is very nice and works for what it is. The only true issue is WHY would anyone put the micro card slot on the top by all the wires. My BIGGEST issue has nothing to do with the quality of the unit, that is great. My issue is, Who in their right mind, would replace a mirror with something like this. With such a wide angle of view objects in mirror are MUCH closer then they appear. If you can see what kind of car it is behind you IT's Right behind you. I took this off the mirror and made a mount for the windshield just to the left of the mirror. Now I have a Normal mirror and then this display next to it. Also if its even a bit rainy out you cant see nothing. I also disliked having the rear camera at plate level. When someone was behind you at a light all you see the the bottom of the front of their car. I have a Kia Soul and put the camera on top of the rear brake light. Much better position and while you do lose a little on the help in backing up, I'm 62 and been backing in with 3 mirrors all my life, no worries. I'll be keeping it as it is. When you unbox you'll be pleased. Very nice unit. It is boxy. I personally like that. I'm old so a bigger screen helps. I mounted the camera at the license plate, instillation was easy. I hide the wires in the rubber seals and the headliner ares. I'm planning on putting the camera on the top of the lift gate. Not happy with a low angle view. Will update if I keep the unit or move the camera. As for the view. VERY little, if any left of Blind spots. With that perk of wide frame of view comes the fact that Objects in Mirror are MUCH closer then they look. A Zoom feature would be nice to see cars well more then a few hundred feet back. When no ones near you don't need the wide angle. The unit is nice. Connection to a mirror is Easy. Cords plug into the top and the SD card is accessed from the top. Bottom access would be easier. The touch screen works very well. Menus are sufficient-ish. I had issues with the GForce thing. Set on the low setting it recorded 75% of the time due to bumpy roads AND any touching of the unit to even bring up a menu that it wont bring up because its Recording or starts recording when you touch it. Finally got the menu up and Turned that feature off for good. Recordings are good quality. Issues I'm having are. Choppy Video after about 40 min of running. Changing res and or reboot fit it. Any permanent Fix? Unit starts in split screen mode. Would like it to stay in rear mode. While the screen may wash out in sun light it becomes a normal mirror enough to also see like that. This is not wholly a Con on just this unit but mounting it on my mirror, a 2015 Soul, the Frit (black spots) is in all recordings and pictures. Moved the unit as far left as I can and not far enough. I AM thinking about removing it from the mirror and DYIing it to the windshield behind the visor then I'll have both a reg mirror and a display. All in all a good product. I ll be exchanging it though if the choppy video cant be fixed and/or the remounting and frit issues bother me to much. Will update

Super Reliable, user friendly, easy to install, effective usability.
Pros 1) Easy setup You should divide this setup in 2 phases. 1st phase - front camera setup, wiring, GPS etc 2nd phase - back camera setup It will be fun & learning if you are going to do 1st time. User manual is self explanatory. Must Read it before you start installation. Back camera need not necessarily to attach with reverse lights as it world cost much to outsource while if you keep back camera as primary view then every time you start your car, back view will ahow up on screen giving you much better clarity whatโs behind your car. 2) super bright and sensitive touch screen Touch actions and motions are very well planned. 3) All screen functions are very well planned and working. 4) You can keep the screen in 3 modes. Rear view Front view Both view side by side I found keeping rear view more helping but occasionally I switch to front view if there is beautiful scenery, sunset or something I want to capture by pressing camera icon on touch screen, while it is recording video from front and rear cam simultaneously. 5) both Cams have scrollable view, up and down. Very nice feature when you are parking in close space and when every inch visibility matters. 6) In device playback available. In any event, you can immediately check videos to help you evidence it to prove you drove well and other party didnt. But be careful and responsible driver. If you drive rash, videos will capture that too. ๐ 7) Parking sensor - Very sensitive in device Gyro sensor. Even with Medium sensitivity, it will record your own door bangs. So you should keep it in low sensivity. In the event of any major vibration to vehicle, it will auto record a clip and will lock it on memory card. When you return to your car and screen switches on, it will show you alert to check event. Luckily whatever I got were my own bangs and slams. But good to know this device is watching it when I am not there with vehicle. Cons Minor point 1- The software provided with 128 GB memory card works with Windows machine only. For mac version, you have to reach their customer care. This is not a blocker as you can run videos independently and can view pics when you shift memory card to your computer/Mac. 2- In extreme sunlight or too low lights, number plate of other vehicle is not visible when you play content even on computer. But thatโs something is situational hazard with every dash cam. You still can prove that it was other carโs fault and not yours. This review I am writing after 45 days with the device. I am very happy with it. Sturdy, reliable device. Go for it.

Honestly, Everything About it is Great Save For One
I've had this dashcam installed in my car for just over 2 years, and I really don't have any complaints about it's performance when active during driving. It records excellent quality video and the cameras are terrific with low light. My only and major beef with this device (and likely every other over the mirror type dashcam available) is with the battery backup. It is one of those flat pack LiPo batteries that really is not suited for this type of application. The one in mine seemed to stop holding a charge for parking monitoring about 6 months ago, and just this week, it had bulged enough to pop the screen off the housing. I live in a relatively temperate area, so it wasn't baking in 200 degree heat every day. Granted, the screen popping off is better than it starting a fire, but I can't help thinking that could have happened first or have been next. In spite of the battery failure issue, I have reassembled the camera with the battery removed. It still seems to work fine while driving. It simply no longer has parking monitoring. Likely, a person could rig up a more reliable external power source for that, but figure you have 2 years or less with one of these until that will likely be an issue. KARSUITE: MAKE THESE WITH A SUPERCAPACITOR PLEASE!

It's ok
I would have given this a 5, however I am on my second sd card. After the first 4 days of owning this dash cam it stopped reading my first SD card. I would format it and remove and put it back in. So idk if it was a bad card or the dash cam had a issue. Currently on day 3 with new card. My second issue is that the rear streaming quality is way too dark. It seems to try and auto adjust. But it's not needed. The front view is bright and clear. Very high quality. My old dash cam with 720p rear camera was better. Lastly night vision isn't that great in my opinion. I have yet to come across a dash cam with good night vision.

Difficult at first, but amazing!
To start this off the camera is amazing. I owned 2 cheaper dash cams prior and wanted to get a dual camera. The quality on both the front and back are extremely good both in the day and night! The rear camera for awhile was not working, but messing with the plug and unplugging/plugging constantly it finally worked. The installation was easier than I imagined, but you might want to get stronger or more double sided tape for the wires so they dont come off or hang down. Instead of using the cigarette port charger, I ordered the usb cord to use a battery pack instead. The actual mirror itself is good. Just dont have the camera on while trying to use the mirror because you'll get lots of reflections, but mirror wise it does as it is intended. The GPS function I am still messing with since it doesnt catch up to speeds as fast. I will post an update after a month!

Overall good camera, nice options, HD, a bit of work to install nicely
True HD, although still hard to read number plates if you need to watch the film afterwards. I say out loud the plate if I think I really need it. Recorded volume is low however. Menu is easily accesible, and by swiping L or R, or Up or Down you acces different settings. The rear camera requires that you route the cable through the car to the camera. I wanted all cables 'invisible' and that requires couple hours to do nicely. The rear view angle is not as wide as the front. I use the rear view camera basically as my mirror. Both sides are recorded always, no matter which screen you are watching, or if it is off. Nice!~ Buying a second one for the camper, that has no rear view whatsoever. That should say someting.
