JM-026S Machete 18.5-Inch Overall

This was a reasonable price, I wish they were a little bit sharper, but I can always sharpen them. It can cut smaller items fairly quickly, but not recommended to be used on anything too big or solid (i.e. palm trees, etc). I like that it came with a cover.

the blade needs to be sharpen more. the handle was little short. I wear size large glove and my hand cover the whole handle. It would be better if the handle is about 2 inches longer. machete is well balanced and compact enough to fit in the small camping back pack. I also use it to clear tree branches at home. I like the plane design. It doesn't have the saw back which can get in your way when clearing branches with leafs. I don't see how you can saw anything with the saw on the machete back anyway. it is made of stainless steel which minimizes maintenance. Still a good idea to apply some oil after the usage.

Haven't used it yet but I'm a female and it's extremely lightweight and I love the shape. Love everything about it.

Sheath needs to be better designed. The strip doesn't fit well. Factory edge of the blade could be sharper too.

Very solid. It can hack through smal things, but you may want to sharpen it to do anything heavy duty. It also doesn't hold its sharpness very long, but what do you expect for the price?

it is perfect for what I use it for cutting Bananas and opening coconuts has good weight and balance so far I really like it.
