These shoes took my dancing from great to fabulous- before, I was just using regular short heeled women's shoes or Converse All Stars, both which made my knees hurt. These are the first pair of dance/ballroom shoes I've owned, and I am so happy with them. I stand more upright, can move faster and more elegantly in them, they keep me on my toes, and let me glide through the steps. It is a sturdy yet beautiful shoe. In black, it goes with any outfit. I can dance about 1.5 hours straight before my knees feel it. They are comfortable shoes that don't force your toes into the peep hole.I ordered 1.5 sizes down based on past reviews (I am a 7 but I got a 5.5) which ended up to be perfect. At first try they were a tad tight, but after wearing them for short periods around the house and taking them out to dance a couple times they have stretched just the right amount and are so comfortable now.

I bought half a size smaller (7.5 instead of 8) as was suggested in previous reviews. My first official pair of dance shoes after 5+ years of social dancing. The first time I wore this shoe was at a salsa event that lasted all night long. By the end of the night, my feet were NOT in pain! They broke in very well. The only issue I had was figuring out the buckle at first.----UPDATE: These shoes exhibited a good deal of longevity! They lasted for 2 yr. & 8 mo. of social dancing before the suede at the bottom wore off.

I am very happy - just received them today and worn around house without socks and I am very happy with them. More stylish than I thought they would be. I was worried about the clasp (due to other reviews) but I LOVE IT. Wish all character shoes used this technique - very easy on and off after I get the strap adjusted (and that was easy too). I found them very true to size. I wear 8 1/2 and sometime a 9 in certain brands, so I stayed with the 8 1/2 and did not size up - and they are a good fit. Dance class Monday night - watch out!

I have danced in these shoes for competition, weddings, dance parties, etc for over two years and they are holding up fine. I wiped them down once to clean them up and they turned out nearly as good as new. i bought another pair a year later in the nude color. Comfortable, look great, heel not too high. Very satisfied with these shoes.

Great for ballroom dance (including Latin). Love quick release buckles. I only wear them on dry, clean dance floors b/c I love them and want them to last. Very comfortable inner sole. Size: 1/2 down from normal -- used size chart, measured both feet, wear medium width shoes. Dance shoes run a bit bigger than normal shoes, so ordered 1/2 size smaller and they fit very well. Handy, light weight shoe bag too. I keep a used toothbrush in it to use as a sole brush.

I bought 2 pairs, black and Beige. I normally wear a size 8.5 but in dance shoes I usually wear an 8, They fit fine.I don't find these to be very comfortable, but for practice they are fine. From the appearance of them you may think they are cheap, but they have held up over the past several months of wear. I dance once to twice a week for approximately1.5 hours each time.

Good truth for the price fits perfectly and very comfortable when dancing!

i was afraid to order these since my shoe size ranges depending on the shoe and the company that makes them, but these are perfect. i bought these to wear to my brother's wedding and they are perfect. i like that they are comfortable and i don't feel lime i'll break my ankle since the heels are the perfect height for me since I'm used to wearing sneakers all the time. So I am amazed.
